20:43 Beep...why is it always at the same minutes?
See, now you've gone from it being random ... to the potential you can all be standing in the right place (once an hour) ... to wait for it.Dissertation done. Printed ...
I keep thinking since I have tonight in theory I should be working on it, do another read through, but I'm fed up of it.
No, it's done. Over. Any tweaks/changes you could make at this stage wouldn't have any effect on the outcome. Best just to eat a pie and forget it.0 -
So, PN, how was the too big bottle issue resolved? We are all on the edge of our seats. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Well done on the dissertation Masomnia.lostinrates wrote: »Slept in cars, lorries and trailers. Slept in barns and stables.
Theoretically some aspects of camping shpuld appeal to me. The lugging your stuff around doesn't much, nor, frankly, does the attire.
.
Slept in the back of so many different vehicles, usually in an industrial estate or a lay-by, that anything but a hotel, ( prefereably with 5 stars), is not cutting the mustard.
Absolutely exhausted this morning, had a lovely tea party, as usual I made too much, but various husbands were fed scones and cake for dinner I imagine. Favourite cake was a chocolate mint one, obviously something to do with having a full box of after 8 mints melted and turned into icing. ( well nearly a full box:o)
Spirit, I hope your hand gets better soon.0 -
Nice one Mas.
I remember when I did mine I'd misunderstood the meaning of double spacing and ended up driving along the hard shoulder of the M25 at 70mph in rush hour to get it in on time.
Not my finest moment.0 -

This was the inquest. It results in a death certificate, for which I will be able to apply in a couple of weeks.
The litigation is completely separate. I have already settled the family's claim as his dependants and got the money a few weeks ago. The three defendants split it three ways to pay me off, and will reimburse each other as necessary further down the line when they've finished suing each other and liability has finally been decided. I have no desire to settle the children's individual personal injury claims at this stage because they may have further psychological injuries that are not yet apparent. There will be plenty of time to settle those later. They will be much smaller than the family claim anyway.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
A skip arrives today.
I am putting special girls stuff in it. Some stuff I gave away, some I'll keep. But stuff that is too tatty to keep ( semi broken rugs that were worth patching up for her but not for someone else's horse for example).
I feel as ready as I ever will.
Also, we are going to de junk generally. We've been planning a skip for a while and DH suggested we should get one for next weekend and I agreed. Having time to do her stuff alone will be easier.. I might see what else I can dump in it before the weekend.
.
All our old field bags might nearly fill it!0 -

Youngest couldn't cope with the bus so I ended up taking him. By the time we arrived he had got himself in a right state but the staff were brilliant and soon calmed him down, got him to where he needed to be and with his helper. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
