I might be tempted if it was with someone else. I'm definitely not sleeping in the garden on my own - I saw what happened to that little birdie
When special girl horses daughter was young, the daughter used to like me to go out and snuggle with her. Plea not this is not recommended nor is it particularly safe. But it is a wonderful memory I have if her. If we had horses again I'd still do all that stuff.0 -
Happy, happy birthday, Maggie. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Worm count at the the yard tomorrow. Unfortunately DD's horse poo'd when at the furthest point on the hack so she was not able to collect a sample.
On return to the yard she waited and waited..no poo. Then in a moment of inspiration put his travel boots on him. He always ppos on his travel boots. Result!0 -

I have a shower above a bath; it's removable from its holder, which can be moved upwards / downwards on the shower pole (or it could, if I trusted the pole not to fall out of its socket). Great for people of different heights.
Yeah, we've got one of those too... Unfortunately our builder and his plumber were about 6'3" and I'm only 5'2"... Needless to say it's arranged for someone over 6' tall. Luckily the one in the downstairs shower room is more suitable for shorter people. So I only use the bathroom for baths. Shower seat is too big to fit in the bath anyway, and I can't stand up for long enuff to use the shower. I'm so glad there's a built in "sort of" seat in the shower at the caravan! Though it's a bit scary when I'm on my own, as it's a bit low so am always a bit worried one of these days I won't be able to stand up from it! :eek:Trying not to make some smutty comment about what Maggie's cake will look like in 3 years time....
:rotfl: If I'm still alive and kicking (well, that'll be shuffling of course, can't even kick now) in three years time you are welcome to make as many smutty comments as you like! I won't care, as I'll just be happy to still be around.

Happy Birthday Maggie!
Youngest has gone into panic stations, he has found out the friends who should be on the bus with him tomorrow morning are going in in the afternoon (they were given either a morning or afternoon induction, youngest has to go in in the morning and his friends have to go in in the afternoon). So now he is in a right old panic and I am not entirely convinced he will get on the bus and if he does, he will be in a right state by the time he arrives at the college.
Coupled with that, he doesn't know what the routine will be, where he has to go, who he will be meeting and the minute by minute plan for the morning....hmm, methinks I will have to ring the college first thing to see what they can do/have planned/warn them. He is certainly not the sort to 'go with the flow' unlike James who prefers 'go with the flow' over the completely and absolutely timed perfection that youngest would prefer. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Travel and dinner.....
Ouch - that dog really did take a chunk out of you. The owner should be mortified - a 2 year old dog taking huge bites out of non-threatening people is a problem....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
