First date was a Genesis concert in October 1973. That might be an expensive night out nowadays but back then concert tickets were a few quid, as they were trying to promote their latest album. Downloads have put paid to all that.:(

Microwaves. Should be one per house. Two's a bit pointless unless you can fit a smaller one inside a bigger ones to speed it all up by, I'd imagine, a few milliseconds.

Happy birthday Maggie, and good luck Sue!

Currently trying to get the car fixed before next weekend for the show, as well as working full time, so it's really busy.

Dissertation done. Printed it at 5.30pm, but it still needs binding. Deadline is 4pm tomorrow, but I'm going into town super early to get it done and handed in, not taking chances.

I keep thinking since I have tonight in theory I should be working on it, do another read through, but I'm fed up of it. I think I should probably add to the conclusion, but I can't see it making too much difference.

Just want to forget the whole thing.

Not much else to add, but CIPD portfolio still due on Friday, made a good start on that. Really need to get back on the job applications.
DD handed her dissertation in on Thursday. It's a great weight off her mind, now it's safely submitted.

My first proper date was seeing Measure for Measure. It was a great production, but the relationship didn't last very long.

Wrong play, I think. I can say from personal experience that, if you want a relationship to last, Twelfth Night works very well.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Good luck for youngest's first day Sue. Hope it goes ok.

Also congrats to Masomnia and hjd's CD on their milestones.

Good news from Lydia too. It sounds as though you have finally had that weight lifted.

Presumably this is three quarters way, or seven eights or something, and now actual amounts have to be agreed ? Or was that done beforehand in certain eventualities?

9am weekdays, 10am weekends - the exception being midday for students.

Latest time to call would be 9pm, unless I had messaged first to ask if OK to call.

PN- look out for 1.5l bottles, they are thinner.

I am not looking out for any bottles.... I bought this one based purely on price. I wanted Pepsi and there was a bottle at 99p .... so I had it. Price is king ... choice goes out of the window :)

Also, the fatness of the bottle was OK - the problem was that the bottom door cubby hole wasn't tall enough to take it. So the bottle had to lean forward, which then meant it touched the shelving, so the door wouldn't close.

It was all OK except this bit wasn't it!

Rule 1: Run/hide from people's pets, they ARE out to get you.

You did "more" in your week than I've probably done in the last 5 years :)

I've been in the tunnels at Portchcurno, in about 1994 or so .... I misunderstood/saw a short advert ... and thought it was tunnels, but it's a telegraphic museum.... luckily I was vaguely interested in that.

Next beach down's good, but it's a long walk..... parking at the church, then wending your way along a path and finally down to the last bit where you're leaping across huge boulders to get to the sand. No services, just a beach. No lifeguards.... but warm water and the seals come out to play. Porthchapel beach, parking at St Levan.
