DW left work at 12.45 and arrived here at 5.45. She was on the go for five hours, just to be with me. I feel very honoured. Unfortunately, she arrived T and G, had supper and fell asleep. She looks very sweet asleep.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

That's exactly what PN is looking for! Do they have other colours?

Lol, yes, but mainly tweed I think. There is maybe a beige colour in this soft velvety quilted finish. But um, with her choice of name or not embroidered she might be pushing her budget.

    This one was £149.

Its probably the last dog bed we'll need though. Certainly no more big ones.

I hope the house passed inspection.

I've been reading a bit about this stuff in Rotherham which just happens to have come at the end of a long enquiry into similar abuse by employees and priests in the Catholic Church and Salvation Army in Aus.

It's all very depressing. !!!!!! is wrong with these people? The police that have clearly been complicit in the whole thing. The teachers knew but didn't report it which is almost as bad. The police part really bothers me though. They were in on it, I'm certain of it.

It's symptomatic of a longstanding attitude towards these vulnerable victims, namely that their evidence cannot be trusted because of their associated behaviours which, in fact, are typical signs of being abused e.g. alcohol or drug misuse.

The authorities have published new guidelines on the investigation and prosecution of such cases. If followed, the victims' reports would have been dealt with properly. Shocking that some of the reports were made only last year.

6.5 hours suggests problems Lydia, usually we expect between 2.5-3.5 on a friday.

GDB, I think Lady GDB must be one of the luckiest ladies having you.

A horrible thing (if true) is that even now there are more police dealing with the EDL protests in Rotherham than there are dealing with the cases, 3 in the latter instance. (From The SMH repeating a UK Telegraph article). I hate racists as much as the next man (if the next man really hates racists) but nonces deserve everything they get and should be prosecuted to the nth degree, within the law: innocent until proven otherwise etc..

I often wake up at between 3 & 5am and put on a podcast which sends me back to sleep. On Thursday night/Friday morning I put on The World Tonight which was about half about this. No more sleep for me that night.
