Mrs Generali has told me not to accept any money.

Thank you so much for the gesture. I really appreciate it. You lot were there for me when a lot of people that should have been were not.

Was it the clause in the contract about you, your wife and all your offspring being eternally in bondage to use for the course of your natural life and your souls in perpetuity that she objected to....or the rider about no brown smarties?

What if we hired you for a day of contracting when you are next in London, payment in advance?
    I think....

I can understand why mrs gen would feel uncomfortable. I just think she doesn't need to. :).

I'm up for that. I can pay with unlimited, beer tokens, fine wine or Single Malt.

Dad would pack two suitcases into the boot of the car, probably there'd have been a couple of carrier bags of shoes/miscellaneous up the side of those; in would go the spades/buckets from last year - then my sibling and I would get in the car with one teddy each.

Those were the good old days...I am really rather annoyed that I have taken the day off today, might as well have been at work.

That would have helped us by reducign traffic on our bit of the M25 - had we left early...but we haven't left yet. In fact it is a Mexican standoff - I have put into the car the things we need - clothes and bedding and now the kids have to decide which of the ten bags each (of toys, cushions, soft toys, shoes, kitchen sinks, etc) they have assembled they are actually going to take, that being all there is room for.

This is bad news. Its already busy out there you know :(.

I can't believe you're still here/there.... come on .... who is the adult? Who is wearing the trousers?

Go on your own - they won't do it again.

We used to get threatened with: Them leaving us behind .... or nobody going on holiday.

The A road near us is closed, OH had to find an alternative route to work, I could not get to my clinical appointment at all.

    Easy for us.

A collision..claiming the life of a local teenager. From the description of the car I am fearing the worst for a nice young lad and his family.

I saw the BBC map of fatalities yesterday..the A Road and some country roads near here are just lethal for young drivers.

Time to seize back control michaels. It was always going to be a bit of a row whenever you got away if that is the packing methodology so at least you have given your self breathing space to actually have the disagreement.
