That's why I bought "almost new" ... as for the 2nd part, it never happened..... those with others, even half-time, or on tap, can't appreciate how awful it is when everything's always, entirely, up to you.
That'll be due to your extreme sports .... eye squirting skills ....
Tonight is a 'wish I'd bought a new build/ renovated place' night. Shouldn't complain though, I got what I set out for.
If there was a.n.other, there would probably just be two of us sat here up to our necks in mess, whinging. I might do some more tidying and take myself to bed.0 -

I've come across one that's accessible to several NPs so thought I'd mention in case anyone is interested, or had been to their meets elsewhere, or would be interested in something near them. The one I'm aware of is in Herts.

Sounds like a visit to the pub after work! I miss those. Nearly always had some kind of interesting conversation about some idea or another.0 -
....
It's all a con.
You'll get there..... it'll just seem like you're swimming in treacle for awhile.
Also, you're young and have future choices where you can choose differently, if you wish. Get to my age and you've not the spare time to reconsider..... and wait it out.0 -

They'll have to be 25mm as it's the patio door glass - and white as the doors are uPVC. I should just order them .... it's theoretically within my skillset to not c0ck it up.....the pictures on the website make it look easy/achievable..... but don't they always.
There are alternatives to "Perfect Fit" that have the blinds encased in glass(?), which means you don't have to ever clean them.
Here are my urls for these beasties, all retro-fit systems:

I found a group of other local business owners. We meet in the pub on a Thursday at 6pm. It saves my sanity on a regular basis and makes me feel a lot less alone in my crusade. We all do different things but the challenges are the same.
Could be good for you.

It's just that, a visit to the pub! One that stimulates your brain in a different way to a) a pub quiz or b) alcohol. It's this one I'm thinking of (there's also one in Stevenage):

We only have to do breakfast and dinner, they get their own lunch. We only offer them what we have for breakfast, toast, cereal, porridge sachets, juice ettc and they generally want chocolate milk and nutella on toast.
They get an exciting trip to the supermarket on the first or second day to say what they like. The most recent said she wasn't a vegetarian but would rather not have meat. We took her to Zizzi's the first night where she had a peperoni pizza and she then proceeded to eat meat at every meal even where we did things like spag bol and cooked a veggie alternative so I am not sure what the English meat she was worried about from her 2 previous homestays but it wasn't anything we cooked.I think....0 -
