Its quote long. In the past DH has slept on it with big dog at one end, neither felt squashed I think. Big dog moves if she feels squashed, or makes the other person move if its a dog.

House a few doors along for sale ... if any NP want to live the good life and move close to me. Can't see there being a rush of hands :)

Now you are a groin thrusting homeowner it is probably time to start thinking about expanding into buy-to-let?
    I think....

Frangipane is possibly my favourite thing. Not sure , but certainly up there.

What part of the taste of almonds do you dislike PN? I can find a certain taste in walnuts off putting sometimes. A bitter taste. Old nuts are unpleasant. :). Rancid nuts , yuk, yet many don't seem to notice.

It's almonds that flavour marzipan isn't it? Hate that taste.

Ah, now I see why you want to rescue the sofa. The previous picture did not do it justice. It's a rather elegant piece, isn't it. But it's going to need an awful lot of work to get into all the nooks and crannies of the wood frame to restore it. Is that the sort of thing you do all the time? Were you going to have a contrast between the colour of the new fabric and the colour of the wood?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Reminds me of Scrotum, the wrinkled old retainer. :)

Yes, I think it would be better. But we don't want it to look too new either. The, if the flaking varnish didn't cause splinters might even have left that despite ugly yellow colour. I would have gone for a greyish linen then I think. I like the idea of a very coarse linen that looks like no one finished putting the top lAyer of upholstery fAbric on.

Not sure how I'd paint the wood. Don't want it to match the room really. ( not keen on matchy matchy) also not keen on too much faux shabby chic, we do the reall thing beautifully, and that's a look I love, but somethings go too far! I don't mind the painted badly while drunk look. If I can decide on a colour. Som,etching odd is happening to me and I keep looking at white things. I am pretty sure this is related to how ip have been feeling in recent times so not rolling too far with it

The sort of thing I do all the time GDb, these days is sleep. I have become a potential world champion sleeper. Yesterday fir phoned me in the morning and I fell asleep while on the phone to him.

Well, I ordered the drain guards .... so now I have to pick them up today. Next I thought I'd go to the bank to pay in my deposit cheque (they wanted £20 to do it by BACS!) .... so I looked up the branch opening hours to check and they're closed Saturdays..... of the five closest, two are closed and the other three close in 20 minutes. So that's a non starter.
