90-13=77% I made the mistake of thinking some non-words were american versions of english words.

Just checked the Autocab for you, and traffic on both local routes above have eased, however M11 is still showing shut (updated 7 minutes ago) South of J8.
I heard that there was bit of a 'sticky' situation.

Thanks for checking. He followed diversion to go down the A10 onto the M25 and then came off at South Mimms, down the A1081 into Barnet and A411 across. The A120 one
That would be my second choice; first is to drive down to Harlow and join the M11/A414 there.
With something like that (and this would be fixed price work to us, not on a meter), it's mainly down to driver discretion, but just happy he's home safe.💙💛 💔0 -
We grow aloe vera in a pot by the front door. Its hard to kill over here quite honestly. I've never managed it despite several years of trying.
We made the buscuit things as suggested (Mrs Generali and I). The angels have their dancing trousers on!
Oh, how cool!
DH used to take aloe Vera juice. Convinced it would help him. Then he decided to use it as a scalp treat ment. One day he dribbled some on his scalp careless ly and it drizzled down over his face. He got the most terrible port wine type reaction to it.
Later the nutritionist/ dietician told me she'd no sooner tell people to drink it than she would to swig domestos.
DH is very into supplements. Its sort of a left over from anorexia. His favourite is algae or seaweed. He also likes things like chia seeds and stuff. We meet in the middle where these things taste good....pollen, pumpkin seeds. I don't even mind a sprinkling of chia, quite pleasant even. A spoon ful is revolting IMO. Horrid texture alone in bulk.
I like food to be 'healthful' ( weird Americanization) and tasty, not to be fuel and pills.0 -
I have one like this. It fits round any jar.
Sometimes just gripping the lid with a rubber glove (the type used for washing up) is enough to give that bit of extra grip needed. You don't have to put it on for that to work.
My preferred solution is to hand it to a son, as they look so delighted when they can prove themselves stronger than me. A definite win-win solution. It's not the same thing at all for them if DW hands it to them.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Sorry to hear about the job situation, Gen. Weren't you interested in setting up an olive farm?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Similarly, my mum had endometrial cancer. When it was diagnosed, the GP told her not to worry about it because at her age it would be slow to develop and she'd "have plenty of time to die of the other things before it got serious", which indeed was what happened.
That could have been phrased more diplomatically, perhaps? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I just thought of a pun!
If Graham Norton came round here, I'd tell him to go away and stop mincing about. In a word: decamp!
