Kiwis breeder warned me all kiwis she's known will drink if they can so never to leave glasses unattended or within reach. Kiwis can hop on to kitchen tables.
Obviously we never let him have alcohol, but he does seem very interested by the smell.
Maybe he would be board lush given the chance.
I bet a nice glass of wine would go down a treat with that bone .... if only he can catch your back turned long enough during/after a party0 -
Gen, sounds like a great day out...and that photo is memorable.0

Mine is in the spare room, to save running a cable to it. I sleep in there when DH is ill or on an early, or it's very hot. It isn't the main tv. As a result, I tend to pick channels that I like the most and leave it in that position as I cba to move it back again. So when in there, I only watch BBC, Dave or sky news.
Also, why do the shopping channels seem to have the best signals? If I wanted to buy fake diamonds, lookey likey Rolexes or sweatshirts with sequined elephants on I'd be just fine. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Someone from the Pets Board will be along shortly to hurl indignant insights at you for even thinking such things.0 -

It's a superb photo. I think she should have it a copy in her room. If she can live life like that what a life it will be!
Sounds like a super day too..
We had a lovely lazy day yesterday just the seven of us ( fir , me, house dwelling four legs). Was v. Lazy ( most of they time:) ) and v wonderful. ( we weren't sure whether RP was going to be away or not, so it felt like a bonus) especially on a rainy day, it felt like the weather was saying......just enjoy each other, relax. DH has an unusual amount of work to keep an eye on ATM ( summer holidays mean he is overseeing obscene numbers of things).
To day its dry and after all that rain the ground will probably be a little yielding. Seems like a good day to weed perhaps.0 -

Both bedroom and cheese room tv are on portable arials.
Bedroom ok.
Cheese room can be temperamental in winter). We have an in loft arial for it , but that's not very good, we're going to get some one in. We cannot decide whether we should do anything else about access to some movies. We know we don't want to spend money on sky or anything. I think there is enough tv, but we'd like a good film on a weekend evening when exhausted from labouring!0 -

Something Ian Hislop said on Who Do You Think You Are was poignant.... his dad had died when he was about 12 and his mum when he was about 32. Programme started with him looking at some old home movies, which were mostly of him/his siblings.... he said "when you're looking at these, the camera's pointed at you, but you wish it was pointing at the cameraman more". So while he enjoyed the old movies, he was more interested in seeing images of his parents in those movies than in seeing images of him aged 3-8/whatever.
And it's true. Parents take photos of their kids .... then the kids look at them in 20-30-40 years' time and think "wish there was more here of mum/dad".
Interesting. The Boy already has a camera so perhaps I should get The Girl one for her birthday which isn't too far off. I reckon she'd appreciate a Go Pro for recording her stunts.0
