We'll, this is cosy, I'm sitting in an Arm chair typing on here on my tod, just like any other day
.
Room is bigger and there are more people in it though, and they keep looking at me oddly. Apparently one doesn't just set up camp in one of these you could live like this rooms.

One of the perils of being early, I fear. I wouldn't know, as I'm never early.
DS just called. He's on the train from the airport. He is going to be picked up from the station and taken out to lunch. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Doesn't count, different country.
Phew... my hat is safe for a little longer.
Surely not!;)If I didn't know you better viva, I'd almost think you were making the rules up as you go
No point making a witty remark now, nikkster beat me to it...:DPasturesNew wrote: »
Middle aged women, buying drawers and saucepans in a shop ... not really THAT exciting when you break it down
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I still haven't bought the car I want. Long story why, suffice to say got messed around & missed 2 going locally.
I've decided I really want one in black, & the nearest is in maidenhead. Seriously contemplating travelling the distance for it.
Means a round journey of 190 miles being made twice in all likelihood.
1 is it worth it? (my worry is if I don't, be looking at the websites daily through september in the hope one comes in locally, & then what if one doesn't?)
2 if I go ahead, what's nice to do in/near maidenhead? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Dont know about maidenhead but plenty of nice places you could stop on the way.
Didn't bother to comment on PNs drawers as I happen to know she likes to wear thongs....I think....0 -
Viva - Just checked, nothing there.
I've confuzzled it into thinking I'm in the UK for IP address, which makes me even more confused.
Will have a look when back (the airport 10 minutes from home, on the same airline we came out with), and let you know about 1pm UK time.
ETA: Please don't quote photo (but text is ok), as it contains both my name and that of a client. Photo will disappear when Viva has seen it.💙💛 💔0 -
Maidenhead is lovely. Go for a row on the river? I'm not sure I'd drive 190 miles on the off-chance of a car. What precisely are you looking for? You may have said, but all I can remember is that it must be black to go with the house. Have you looked on the BCA website? Perhaps get it at trade price, rather than retail. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

If I was going to go for it, I'd call then, drop a deposit, go, test drive etc, agree purchase, & arrange to return & collect it I guess.
What's BCA?It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
