It will be low VOC stuff, the laws on paint changed in 2010, I think it was. The stuff produced immediately afterwards goes yellow. We're having to do all of our woodwork after less than three years.

Apparantly Dulux have sorted it, but you don't know until a year down the line.

Nikkster, I like the Little Green. Not too glossy, not too matt.

That might explain it; 2010 build. You used to be able to paint once and if you lived a clean life get away with it for 20 years :)

I think Michaels and lemonjelly would find that very interesting ;)

That's why we didn't add a beer stop into the equation.... wouldn't have been able to get rid of them :)

Feeling Ruff as R Soles. As usual, if I am going somewhere/doing something, I don't sleep the night before ...
Me too. Off to Vienna for a long weekend this morning. Mind you, Club Europe was only £7 per ticket (one way) extra so we shall be pretending to be posh on the way out, slumming it on the way back.
I am up, ready, all my stuff checked and packed - and OH is still slobbing around in his dressing gown watching TV. I like to arrive in plenty of time, he usually slides up almost at the last moment. Can you tell it bugs me?? Flight in 3.5 hours, luckily we live quite close to the airport..

Somewhere I have always wanted to go, Vienna. Have a good break.
No I don't. It's salty... and fatty. I don't like salt or fat.
    :)

    I don't like bacon either. Sorry.:p

Doesn't count, not on the public highway.

    Doesn't count, different country.

Phew... my hat is safe for a little longer.

Next thing you will be claiming the hat is safe because it was the wrong colour of car - very arbitrary some of these rules. On the other hand, 'my' swans are winning;)

    @Nikkster. I love that turquoise!:)

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Ebola is scary. I work in a boarding school with some Nigerian students. The thought of Ebola getting into a UK school is horrifying.
