I've found a 'what would your room etc' look like a different colour app, but I'm going to have to wait for daylight to try it out...
In the meantime I've used my finest Paint skills (hope my real life painting skills are better!). Pic is from a couple of years ago, but the plants at the front are just about as overgrown again!
Will delete in half an hour or so:

There is a choice of three lots of straws..... more of a choice of straws than cheap curtains that'd fit my windows!! Outrageous. Country's going to the dogs I tell ya!0

Hmmm.... you'd be able to find it if you came home drunk
That space above your front door's crying out for a window. What's behind that wall?
I popped out my front earlier and dragged out some more bindweed and some sproutlings from that plant under my bay window that has huge/taken over. Not a lot .... but I did it.
I've noticed the bay sill isn't sealed/joined. I need to get some sealant and seal that up.0 -
You don't like bacon?:eek:PasturesNew wrote: »I looked through all the food on the website and there was nothing that caught my eye. That is food to buy/take away home.
I've eaten in the restaurant 2x before, once about 25 years ago - had meatballs; once about 7 years ago, had a child's meal of fish/chips/peas.
I am a savoury food liker ... not really a sweet food liker. Cake or quiche ... quiche every time (unless it's nasty bacon or mushrooms or something else odd).
I had no idea such people existed!
Nice one Mas! Cheers!:cool:Assuming no one else has answered, my sister reckons that is on the longer side. But, some land registry offices are quicker than others and it can depend who they've used, there is a backlog at the moment, and there can be slowdowns if for example the solicitors have to get proof from a bank that previous mortgages have been discharged and so on.
So it's not unusual for it to take this long, and not worth worrying yet, I think was the gist of it.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

No I don't. It's salty... and fatty. I don't like salt or fat.
I once tried some "turkey rashers" designed to look like bacon. I thought "Nice, I like turkey, I'll try those" .... unfortunately, they'd also made them as salty as bacon

Thought exactly the same as PN.PasturesNew wrote: »That space above your front door's crying out for a window. What's behind that wall?
Think the door would look ok, but you'd need to do the external sills etc to match. & possibly the gate.
Be careful - remember the pic of new jelly in pink?:p
I'll keep my door black. Was talking with a friend about the car I am still after, for nearly a year now. I missed 2 about 3 months ago, that would've been perfect. Nearest black one is maidenhead. I'm seriously considering going to see it/buy it. I know that'll involve 2 journeys, but I digress... I mentioned a nearby place has a slightly high mileage model, 3 years old, in price range (possibly a little over-priced) in silver/grey. Friend said that the silver/grey doesn't look as nive, but more importantly, would look odd outside the house, whereas a black one would "go"!It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Nah, just the front door. Turquoise. Rendering needs repairing, then painted white with the feintest bit of blue (currently white, that photo was in funny light). Sills dark grey perhaps.
Won't be matchy matchy. Or pink. It's not going to be black and white either though
Space above door is over is two back to back built in wardrobes over the stairs (open front door, then about a metre back the stairs start).0 -

At some future point, that'd make an easy/great en-suite location maybe (water depending) .... with a nifty window to the front.
All cost of course.... which is always a showstopper.0
