No reason, we hadn't heard of them and only trawled round because they had a big showroom near the recommended tile shop. They have bathrooms laid out with so much space they could take up the whole of our downstairs.
This really annoys me with these shops, & also their adverts on TV. So unlike real life. Look at the settings for any sofa advert - always in rooms far far far bigger than any "normal" person/home.

It will compliment Doozer. It would be S kitchen design, so Yorkie would know what I do and the current kitchen page on our website would refer to this and the new one would also refer straight back to Doozer. My aim is to provide essentially the same service but one is a building firm that offers kitchens and the other is a kitchen co that does building. It utilises me more, otherwise I'm often waiting for him for three months to build something before I get involved.

I'm not 100 % sold on the actual word; it is a real word in english (and italian and spanish) although I've never felt the urge to use it in conversation.

The trouble with using my name is that a) my self confidence is nowhere near high enough and b) if I ever was able to expand, people would expect to deal with me or the team might feel like underlings.

Sorry if I'm hogging the thread :o. I've written it down now so I need to JFDI.
Disagree. Do people expect to deal with WH Smith when they go to buy a magazine? When I buy an amstrad gizmo, do I expect sugar to sell it to me? When I have a burger, do I expect ronald mcdonald to bring my dinner?
The team won't feel like underlings. They're more likely to be proud to be in a good job working for a good employer!

I have a diffferent spelling which comes up clean, but it did give me an idea to do this:

    1. Doozer
Little green people that where helmets and build towers out of radishes.
"Why do you suppose doozers build the buildings doozers build?"

...Which is one of two reasons why I am a Doozer

The other reason is not this, but it made me roar belly laughter...

    6. Doozer
    n. An impressively large !!!!!!.
Usually one where the subject's legs fall alseep from sitting on the toilet for too long. There must be atleast three courtesy flushes performed before a doozer can be official. Taking a picture with your cell phone of the doozer and sending it to your friends is optional. A doozer should be graded by any who witness it.
"Yo, Booth man, I just dropped a nasty doozer. Come take a whif of this."

I don't expect a rush to intercept three middle-aged women who are meeting to have a bun and a coffee .....

This really made me laugh. I thought it was because I didn't mention cashback in my post. :D

Doozer, am already thinking about a minor change here/kitchen extension etc.
Do you do design options as well as the build? I don't know what is practical/realistically achievable?

Yes, my lovely, that's what I do best :)

Sorry, does lavender keep moths away? Or do you mean the moths will have it?

I posted earlier having not seen this. I'm your target market too!:)
I'd suggest yam yams, but I'd probably be your only customer & no-one else would get it...:o

Read No Logo by Naomi Klein. Essential stuff, as well as a brilliant book.

    I own it, somewhere!

Edit: and now electronically, thanks PN!

I am getting excited about my downstairs loo, how sad is that.

Old floor tiles have been ripped up, to expose original quarry tiles underneath. In near perfect condition too. No, they can't stay, they are biege.

I'm listing things and think I've just stumbled on something - it's not what I had in mind. A not very often used adjective but I think it describes my values well and I can see how it could be marketed in a playful way. The domain is available, which helps, but people might not be able to spell it easily.

Bit thrown. Worried it might just sound like any other kitchen company to people. If anyone has any burning ideas, please throw some my way.

Was thinking of "Kitchen Angel" but it's been taken in other countries.:(

Lob conkers into corners to get rid of spiders.... allegedly.

I love conkers. Would love to go conkering. We used to go on the common when I was growing up. Just used to pick up a dozen or so from the ground, but I remember it.

Snap. One of my favourite things. I'd collect carrier bags full to bursting when I was a kid. We were surrounded by the trees and there enough for all the kids to have mammoth collections. I loved it. I still pick them up, lovely, smooth, shiny things. :)

Well, I have, and am on, broadband.... but it's during its teething moments, so it just took me 15 minutes to load this page to post this. I'm sure it'll get better in the coming hours/days.

I've now got my speaker out/plugged in (but only to be turned on when I need it) .... and the broadband (when working) will be 'unlimited' so I'll be able to watch a spot of catchup TV :)
