Hygena Harriette Double Bed Frame - Black.
227/4487
PN, I just saw this on HUKD at £185, including drawers. Would that be any good to you?
I'll check it out .... still need a mattress..... I do hate having to look at a bed/mattress separately, it feels weird/wrong. Life used to be simpler: Bed, Double. Complete. £xxx
It says packed flat and 2 people recommended to put it together.... so not ideal.0 -
It is utterly airless here and stifling.... wish I had a weather station so I could report specific numbers .... but it's uncomfortable. Still, airless, ominous, close.0

I just checked here PN. Mine's in the kitchen, which when it hasn't been used for cooking (eg today) is the coolest room in the house. Readings are 28 degrees and 68%.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I nodded off earlier (about 3pm - 5pm) ...and woke up to this airless/heavy weather. It was super quiet 3-4 minutes ago, now I can hear distant dogs barking ..... makes me wonder if I'll hear thunder in the next 10-15 minutes now....0 -
Great excitement here this afternoon when they were reading the themomtre which was on the floor. I suggested they put it right way up and remember its novelty stautus, Righting is made it drop to a more credible reading in low thirties.
In the yard it was reading 42' which felt right.
The thermostat, which is took out side to compare to themometre read thirty two at about five.
It has felt VERY hot today.0 -
Yes please with the thunder. The air could do with clearing. Mind you, last time you had a storm it arrived here about 2 hours later. I therefore consider you as "pastures, two storm hours away from here".Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I doubt that anyone would get sanctioned to fly (on a European carrier) if they have any symptoms of anything, mild or otherwise. They'll get told they'll be rebooked for free once they are fit. They'll be watched like a hawk and even once on, they can be offloaded if cabin crew suspicious up until the plane leaving. Not based on first hand info in this instance I should say, I haven't asked.
They had to quarantine 5000 people in Canada during SARS. They've got quite a generous health system there that's supposedly well-equipped and resourced compared with ours.
How would this country with its using everything to maximum capacity attitude work? There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I think we had SARS quarantine in this country too zag, though nowhere near 5000. I seem to remember there being quarantine facilities at the Royal Free. Found it:

If it were me I'd close down the schools and then use the school buildings as a quarantine centre..... it's summer now so there'll be plenty of warehouses full of camp beds itching to be sold off cheap soon0 -

In this country, during the last really big epidemic, they painted a Red Cross on your door, and you weren't allowed out. It seemed to work, as half the population survived. We could do better now, as our understanding of contagion is better.
The advantage our forbears had was that the incubation period for the plague was only 4 days or so, compared to 15 for Ebola. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
