Balls. You're doing your thing while undergoing what you're undergoing. There is no relativism here. I face my situation and you face yours.
I have a problem in that I need to try to scale things down. I can't keep on as I have for the last 25 years, it's all too much. You've faced similar challenges I think.
SuperGen has to be sidelined in favour of GoodEnoughGen I think. It's proving very difficult, not least of which is managing everyone else around me. I'll still do some superhero stuff (I have to) but it might have to be through the Cancer Survivor lens.
I'm sure GoodEnoughGen will be absolutely fab.
The cancer survivor lens gives you a totally different perspective on life and what you want from it. I can't imagine how hard it is with small kids, but you have to look after yourself first, in order to be able to look after everyone else.
Speaking of which, I hope that the radiation burns are subsiding enough that angels can dance on your tongue again. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I've had devils dancing on my tongue due to the burns for the past couple of weeks and that's really been getting me down but since Sunday the burns have been going down and all I'm left with in my mouth is a scar line that I hope will go away too.
We had salad with vinaigrette for dinner tonight which makes me think that my mouth can cope again with everything.
We have a quarterly team meeting in a couple of days and I need to take a Colombian dish. Any thoughts? It should really be something sweet. I was thinking about a silly take on cocaine like a Chelsea bun. I'd welcome ideas though.0 -

If you are looking for a cheapie, it's worth checking the Dell Outlet, we buy all of our PCs from there and they are often 40-50% off. Inspirons are fine, but they are built to price (but having said that you can get quite a good spec one for about £270 with a big screen). If you want something a bit more bulletproof for business, the upgrade to Latitude is worth it. Inspiron is broadly their home product, Latitude office.
I shall look into that one as well. Whilst the intention is for home use, I can guarantee that work will creep into home hours.

Blimey .... I didn't even think of Columbians eating food ... or what they'd eat.
I'd Google it then look at the images for something nice looking.

Or, just take a bucket of sand and say you misunderstood ... and thought you had to bring a desert.0 -
Something based on Dulce de Leche?
Dulce de Leche is yummy.....Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Oh, pn's link has pictures of bunelos. Never eaten though....would also be cool as a one portion of fried ball person type thing.
There is something else I cannot think of the name of that begins in b which is a chocolate thing covered in chocolate strands.
Edit :the chocolate things might or might not be called brigaderos.0 -
