As was always going to happen, things have not gone to my plan. Just looked out of the upstairs window. Birdie is a little way away, but is still there, and I think has had company overnight.
Off outside I go...
Edit: All sorted. I hope I don't have to do that regularly.0 -
Lots of excitement building, and bunting going up, for the Tour de France this weekend. The barriers are starting to be put in place at junctions, and we have a street party after the bikes have gone through. There will be thousands and thousands of people, just hope the weather is kind!
I saw on the news that's on. I've no idea where the route is, or how long the route is. Enjoy your street party.0 -

Even though I have no veterinary or medical qualifications, it was definitely 100% dead this morning.0 -
Hope you are feeling well again soon Lydia
She should be on the grounds she's a nuisance to the HA, never mind the other tenants.
I don't think she is particularly bright, her train of thought is that if she complains enough, then the HA will think her complaints have some merit and she will be moved away and closer to the town centre (which is why she is complaining, she doesn't like being so far out)
She's working on the assumption the HA will think no smoke without fire and that we are all being absolutely awful to her/we are all terrible tenants who do nasty and illegal things. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I too am hungry, now.
Except that the quiz people can't spell "dessert". Whipped cream doesn't usually make most people think of deserts unless they happen to think that the soft peaks of the cream look like sand dunes.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I too was sweet and innocent.....hmm, maybe I should have answered for my youth instead of now, I've become boring! We made it! What you need is a Heidi. Who would have joyously run round the garden for a few minutes with her prize and then buried it under a privet.:o0
