Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Lots of excitement building, and bunting going up, for the Tour de France this weekend. The barriers are starting to be put in place at junctions, and we have a street party after the bikes have gone through. There will be thousands and thousands of people, just hope the weather is kind!0 -

I didn't realise until today that it was starting at the Harewood Estate. I used to do a lot of work for a company up there (on the estate). The countryside around there is absolutely stunning.
