And while you're here, Igor, how are preps going for the NSD gang chariot races tomorrow?
The Coliseum is set up and the lanes are marked out? Good!
All the NSD gang have got their chariots washed and polished, and their horses/ponies/donkeys/zebras/Irish Wolfhounds brushed and ready in harness? Good!

Jackie O said what???? She isn't going to waste a precious NSD by hiring a horse for the day, so will her grandchildren's rocking horse do instead????

And did cw really use the excuse of a broken arm to hire that Roman Gladiator to drive her chariot for her? That buff, hunky, well-fit bodybuilder-type Roman Gladiator? Hmmmm, anyone fancy their arm breaking?

Tell Knitwitch to hurry up knitting the laurel crowns for the contestants, and see if marmite and kerri have sorted out the half time entertainment.

That only leaves the food side of things.......you have a menu sorted? I rather thought you might....:(

I hear that The Good 'Ole Boys are free to sing a few lullabies?

kerri are you up to doing some pole dancing, wearing the latest hot fashion item of high heeled, sparkly gladiator sandals and rhinestone toga?

Hubert has volunteered to spray-paint and superglue together some laurel leaves to make some crowns,as Knit Witch will have to knit 24/7 otherwise, and her poor wee hands need a break. Just watch where you put the superglue Hubert!!!No,it's not the same as chewing gum!!!
    And,to be honest,not having opposable thumbs,but hooves doesn't help,but he's keen,that's the main thing...:D Quite frankly,Hubert you could do with a pedicure....Do we have a beautician in the audience?

Morning all, beautiful day here. NSD been a bit thin on the ground as late but no real plans to spend today.

CW lovely cast! Hubert is on his was over with his glue gun to add some embellishments to it for you..... Take care and hope it heals quickly.

marmite I'm all ready with my heels and sparkly toga for a half time spin. Got a sore knee ATM (think it's the acl at the back) think I've over stretched it in the cool down in class. Was learning a fab new move on thurs though, bit painful in the armpit, but google 'Teddy' and you should see the move I was doing.

My God,you can do that move?!Hats off to you,you must be as supple as a gymnast!
I've always thought that pole dancing needs great strength, style and suppleness. The thing is,like a lot of sports, when you see it done by professionals, they make it look so easy.

I hope your knee mends soon.:)

I'm feeling a bit like an old crone now...

S*d the chariot and shopping today will be No.12 of my NSD's I got up ,looked out of the window and it looks a bit overcast, then looked in the cupboards and freezer and decided I will make do with what I have the bits I have on the shopping list can wait another day. I think and I would rather stay indoors and potter around. I have just made a box of bicuits for my DGS and a large Victoria sponge cake for DGS Jack as its his favourite.

I have some left over bacon that needs using up so I am going to make a quiche (basically a baked pastry case filled with chopped up cooked bacon and onion and three whipped eggs plonked on top) that will do with sald for a couple of days, and it uses up the bacon and some of the surplus eggs I have indoors (I had a friend who was going away on holiday and she donated 8 eggs to me )So another day when the supermarkets won't get hold of my cash :):):)
