It has come to our company's attention that there is a massive issue with parking charges being issued - Parkshield, and problems with legal cases and default CCJs at Fort Dunlop and Urban Splash situated at

Fort Dunlop
Fort Parkway
Birmingham
B24 9FD

http://www.urbansplash.co.uk/commercial/fort-dunlop

One of our appeals handlers visited this site this week to raise awareness of our business and help we can do.

However we are now receiving emails with customers who have received CCJs at this site - they are being referred here and Pepipoo.

ONE OF OUR APPEALS HANDLERS WILL ACT AS A LAY REP TO SET ASIDE ANY CCJ OR COURT APPEARANCE. HOWEVER OUR STAFF DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE THE TIME TO WRITE DEFENCES PERSONALLY - SO WILL NEED TO HAVE DEFENCES VIA A GROUP EFFORT OF FORUM AIDED DEFENCES.

TO THE MODS AND ANYONE ELSE - THIS IS NOT A POST TO TOUT FOR BUSINESS - BUT TO RAISE GENERAL AWARENESS REGARDING A SERIOUS ISSUE WE HAVE NOW BECOME AWARE ABOUT AT THIS PARTICULAR SITE AND TO OFFER GENUINE HELP AS LAY REP

It's definitely time you registered as a company rep with the mods.

    What is this about?

I googled "Parkshield win in court" there was not very much, I therefore googled "Parkshield lose in court", again, not a lot.

Whilst the company's stance against them does them credit, Parkshield appears to be neither a Big Beast, nor a consummate litigator. Where is this "massive issue with parking charges" of which they speak?

@ the deep that is because not everything is reported and googleable

This is one of them who came to us and referred here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5004898

there is another to paid over £800 after receiving a CCJ

with due respect to some posters there are a number of things going on behind the scenes which cannot be disclosed at this stage.

@nobbysn*ts - I do not do any postings with a conflict of interest - seems strange that you do not really post or even offer advice on this sub forum much in any case.

The company website is under my userprofile which does not breach any forum regulations and in fact other posters on this forum also have the same info link to their businesses.

I also offer advice both on and off forum on a regular basis.

you will note also in my signature I link to generic items such as standing up for consumer rights
    reading the newbie sticky thread
    and parking prankster.

A very cryptic reply 4CR, I am not one iota wiser.

Having been privy to some of the state's most guarded secrets, I am unimpressed that you should wish to keep matters concerning a scabby parking company under such a cloak.

As I say, Parking Shield do not seem to be the most litigious player in town, so why the OP?

    Are you perhaps attention seeking?

@ The deep it is not a cryptic opening post - please re-read it again.

The site was visited by one of our staff a few days ago - which revealed the problem and we are now receiving numerous emails directly.

There will be a flood of possible court claims in the offing and indeed there is a hearing later this year helped off forum for this site - which has been in the pipe line for some time - before realising the scale of the potential problem at this huge site.

The point of posting is that there will be guaranteed lay rep help at county court from our company staff for anyone who is facing a court claim or to set aside a CCJ originating from this particular site.

However as stated - due to time constraints and the volume of potential cases - defences cannot be individually written and so will need the usual help from the internet fora.

Reread it, still not much the wiser.

When you say "our staff", whom do you mean? Do I take it you are writing on behalf of Urban Splash?

As I understand it, Fort Dunlop is a large office complex. Reading between the lines it seems that the parking company are upsetting your tenants, and you are trying to dislodge said nuisance. If so, all power to your elbow.

You will have to forgive me if I am a bit slow, I am 74 (today) you know.icon7.gif

Being a business I take it there will be a charge for this lay rep service?
