The posters here who lay rep for people in court do so without charge for profit - the most that normally gets requested is their own travel costs of course, e.g. a train ticket paid and a cup of coffee maybe afterwards!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Being a business I take it there will be a charge for this lay rep service?
As already covered by Coupon Mad and Nobbysn*ts - lay reps cannot charge - nor can we do so out of our business model.
As also stated lay reps sometimes legitimately ask for a contribution in petrol/travel costs and get treated to a cup of coffee afterwards.
County court costs are limited in any case - to currently £90 for a full day should the defendant win. Although potentially there may be opportunity to request costs for attendance by lay reps awarded by the judge against the parking company should the case be successful, AFAIK - lay reps have not yet done so - as they do not wish to take away any costs due to the defendant.0 -

Ok, so will your company guarantee to provide a lay rep at CC for anyone at this site whether they have used your services or not?0 -

Ok fair enough, well played to them. But if that's the case, they could easily have wrote the OP without any mention of 'our company' which is what I think has got a few peoples backs up earlier in the thread.
The cynic in me, says that you get don't get anything for nothing and must be a catch.
I don't know the benefits or otherwise of registering a company on here, but surely it's got to be in their interests as they can then mention it more freely without people jumping on their posts looking for ulterior motive. Or they can have two accounts (if allowed), their personal account where they give free advice and their business account.0 -

If someone is putting in the hard yards regarding Court evidence and turning up as a lay rep, they don't have the time to help out here too.
It is no secret who the OP is and the service offered. He also clearly stated from the off in this thread. What more does he have to do?0 -
I think the OP was a general warning about the place and asking the more knowledgeable ones to bothe keep an eye out for threads on the place AND help out where possible.

And could that warning not have been given without mentioning 'our company', especially if it is no secret who the OP is and the service that they offer?
I have nothing against the OP and they have clearly helped a lot of people on these boards and off. I am just trying to be impartial and say how looks to an outsider.
They offer service which I can liken to the PPI reclaim companies, in that it is something you can do yourself, but if you don't have time or don't want the stress then they will do it for you for a fee. I have no problem with that.
They regulars on here always quick enough to jump on Perky's numerous aliases, saying that if he posting then he should declare himself as a business, I just don't see the difference here, just because they are on our side. Smacks of double standards and if we are going to moan (and quite rightly so) about Perky then 'we' have to be whiter than white.0 -
Could someone please enlighten me as to why this thread is so cryptic? I'm local to Fort Dunlop and The Fort retail park and would be interested to know what is so special/different about how Parkshield operate at this site compared with other PPC's at other sites?0

Precisely what I said in post number 3. I do not know why the OP posted this at all, unless it was to drum up business. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
