  • i thinkits a shame theyr taking the freeonline entry off most but its up to them i guess

i also dont trust postcards took 3 weeks one time for mine to arrive to a friend and that was within the uk

  • I entered the Good Morning Britain competition online for free this morning.

Some of the ITV competitions still have an online option. The Loose Women comp started the postal entry quite a while ago; the This Morning comp started the postal entry option last week (I think - maybe the week before).

I suspect there is currently a mixture and we may see all of their comps migrate from the internet to postal option.

Especially if people are mug enough to enter them.

Most of the postal entries for ITV and Channel 5 seem to operate from different PO Box's in Derby, and all the boxes seem to be very close to each other numerically and slightly different postcode, which is normal with that type of arrangement for a company.
I only know this as I've been doing a couple of postal entries for each of these over the past couple of weeks instead of the free online entries.
Thanks to all the competition posters.
  • Ok.
I'm a total newbie and promise that I have looked around before posing this daft question. Also, apologies for posting something slightly out of kilter with the thread.
Anyway...I use an IPad and autofill so I am really just using Safari. I have got Chrome as an app but rarely use it.
Anyway again...I have entered a couple of ITV competitions and don't get any entry acknowledgement after submission.
Is that more or less normal? Sorry to ramble...

    Hi

Does anyone know the maximum amount of postal entries for the ITV This Morning comps now that free online entry has disappeared?

In the Ts&Cs it says that phone or text are a maximum of 37 each, but I can't see how many postcards they will accept - in theory, 100 2nd class stamps is cheaper than 37 premium rate phone calls/texts?

I can't afford that many entries BTW, but trying to work out the best bang for my buck!:)

It's in the T&C's and the entry limit is the same for all entry routes (which is 39 not 37, 37 is the limit per phone number)
For the purposes of this Prize Draw, the 30 entries in Clause 7.3 of the General Terms shall be deleted and replaced with 40 entries

7.3 If we have reason to believe that an individual entrant to our competitions or prize draws has made 30 or more entries using different phone numbers (or other details on which limits on number of entries are based) from any one entry platform then the Promoter will treat this as an attempt to unfairly influence the interactive service and all entries submitted by that entrant will be discounted.

After the first 3 calls, you are charged for 2, the remaining 34 are buy one get one free so in total you pay for 19 calls costing £29.26 to get 37 entries.

Thanks mjm, they don't make it straight forward, do they?!
I forgot about the 3 for 2 thing, but by my reckoning, 39 x 53p is £20.79 so still a cheaper option, I think!
