ITV Comps Questions

i love the ITV comps but really wish it was just one entry per phone number, cos i spend far too much time trying to max out my entries.

i usually click on the link on MSE to the comp but wonder if im not winning any cos I should may be cut and paste the link????

also if ITV cant get hold of a winner do they do invest time and effort to find the winner. just wondering cos i have entered some in an old mobile number that i no longer use and wonder if i have missed a win that way?

another question - do you enter say 5 times straight after each other or on 5 different days if you are allowed 5 entries?
do you enter at the beginning of the competition or towards the end?

finally, if you do get the winning phone call i sometimes use the same email address for various numbers or sometimes different email addresses. will they accept i use various email addresses?

if i cant win the lottery the next best thing would be an ITV competition!!!

I personally just enter them as I come across them. I do max my entries out right away though.

I won a Sony Tablet a few months ago from them and they tried for about 2 - 3 weeks to get a hold of me. Unless it's a time specific win, like tickets or something, then they should keep trying.

I would suggest always giving a phone number that they can get a hold of you on though.

Keep entering and keep your fingers crossed. I'll throw some luck your way

i enter the entries straight after each other, if say 6 entries per ph.no.
i open 6 pages to do on my moby number, then open another 6 to do home phone, then another 6 for DH's moby etc,
i do try to enter them as soon as they're posted but sometimes busy so will subscribe to the posting & get back to it the next day or asap,
don't think the email addys are a problem as am sure it's just the phone numbers that count

I just click on the mse link and was the winner of a fire. I enter as many times as allowed if a big prize on home phone and comping phone. OH enters on his mobile. Use different emails and enter all at once and towards the end of the comp.

I enter all 6 or whatever straight away. I only ever use the home phone though and keep thinking about adding my mobile on too, but just havent and I can't even say why I dont enter with my mobile too. I enter as soon as I see the comp. Never won (which is kind of obvious considering I dont enter as many times as I can)

These are driving me double-batty at the mo. Though I now do what Firefly suggested and open six pages at a time (where it's six entries per phone number allowed). That really helps - Fanks FF :T:T:T But those flipping captchas - AAAAAHHHH!!!!! And it's loading so slow, and throwing error messages :mad::mad::mad:

I'm trying to meditate on the prize and just plod on without killing anyone. It's come close, but worked so far - just.

I won a years supply of Ben and Jerrys from ITV last month. I only enter 1 phone number and do the 5 entries all at the same time....They managed to get hold of me straight away, so I don't know what they do. I always make sure I input my mobile so that they can def get hold of me.

When they ring does their number come up as witheld or does it show a number?

It shows an 0207 number if I remember correctly.

Just checked and it was 0207 1562788

do you have to use roboform or last pass 6 times for the 6 open pages or is there a shortcut to fill in all 6 open pages at once?
