Hello, can I join you please. I have a three year old and am on maternity leave with my 3months old DD. Getting married in 3 months (bought dress super cheap when pregnant) and want to get fit again. Also aiming for a 10 next summer. Plus I want to use the running as a bit of me time after a day of chores and kids. Is there an actual app c25k? Will have a look.

Been out tonight for my first run in about 4 years and did 25 min walking and running but not sure how far.

Oh yay please do! :D Did you find the app? I have just completed day 3 (because I am an idiot and somehow managed to do day 3 instead of day two...so day two will be Wed!!:rotfl:)

I really had doubts yesterday with me aching so much but I got out and just did it.

May move Wed to Thursday as I can imagine the pain is going to come back as the day goes by :( See how I get on.

I did do some stretching this morning as my partner swore it would help. :o

I don't think I can manage every day due to kids, hubby's football etc. So i think I just stretch the programme and run 3x a week plus do some other excersice at home when i just have the baby. Will run again tomorrow.

Your not supposed to do every day, 3 times a week is fine.

Static stretches after you run, dynamic before you start.

Kayalana, I ran yesterday. Not checked the app properly yet but thought I can do it as I can fit it in. Some days are just not possible. I thought I do Sun, Tue, and Fri. Maybe also wed or Thu depending on hubbies football. Yesterday i ran without the app. so my official day one is tomorrow.

Edit. Sorry just read your comment again, I.e. I only need to run three days a week anyway, doh.

    Hi Guys :D

Unfortunately my iPhone charger has broke and as laaame as an excuse as it is..I won't be going out tomorrow as one I won't have the app & two I won't have any music..I will however be taking an hour + walk to Asda to get a new one as our car is off road temporarily (really not having much luck lately)

I am planning on going out Thursday instead...but the problem is I really don't want to be going out on Sat or Sunday so basically leaves Friday which is a new week on the app and means it will be a harder day.

Not sure what best way to do this is atm as I don't want to take 3 days off...perhaps maybe I'll repeat a day of week 1?

Went out last night for day one of C25K and loved it. Will be sore though. It was sunny and even just having half an hour of me time. Will do some light excersices in the house today and then run again on Fri.

I tried day one on sunday. Not a pretty sight. Will need to change a few things as went out with the dogs. Didn't ache the next day.
Definately not going to be doing more than 2 times a week (got other exercise on the go as well, and don't want to strain my back).
