What's the point of MSE inviting comments on the new format and then removing those that are critical of it?

Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Please note that Ambassadors are not moderators. Any posts you spot in breach of the Forum Rules should be reported via the report button, or by emailing forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.

I think the OP's username bears an uncanny resemblance as to what the new forums look like.0

Is this supposed to be where I can post comments on the new Forum format? I was only directed here by another member as I could not find it by inspection. I have made what I hope are some constructive comments on the Techie area of the Forum. However I will summarise again
1. Layout is much too spaced out, have to keep scrolling up and down to find relevant topics and then once in a topic to read comments
2. Colour and format is not restful or easy on the eye (see also 1)
3. Login option is squeezed up on left of forum front page and has to be clicked on again to log in, what is wrong with having the login embedded in the entry page as before? Now looks like they forgot it and added it at last minute. (Hello - Some of us go direct to the forum to log in...)
4. The option to "Read More" about the new format does not work, it just refreshes the same Forum front page with no further information
Generally it is a pretty poor effort and I really don't think I shall be using it so often if at all if the new format as currently presented is adopted.0 -
Hi Skid Marks
I'm not aware of any of the MSE Team removing any comments so far. However, we do need non-logged in users to give us their feedback on the email address at the top of the Forum so we can collate it.Could you do with a Money Makeover?

It's now Wednesday - and the ghastly new format is still in place.0 -
Horrible format - please do not use it again.0

Not pleasant. Loud colours, lots of white screen, looks like it's been designed for a smart phone.
And where is the new posts button? I've discovered lots of new ideas just by browsing.0
