If the disabled bay was "right outside their entrance" then it was Premier Inn's disabled parking space! For them to say otherwise is a big, fat lie.0

Just a quickie .. what Premier in was it ? can we not have a look via google earth to see what parking bays are available ? or via their website ?LBM - Oct - 08 DMP Started - Feb -09

Hi again, it is Euro Car Parks, Prem Inn have apparently "escalated my complaint " I have a ref number, and the area manager will be in touch within 48 hrs, and the trip advisor review is already up there!0

Good, and be reassured that Euro is one of the softest of these companies, you will NOT get a court case brought against you by Euro.Je suis Charlie.0

And the area manager has told me he has spoken to the staff who, surprise surprise, insist I was told at the time of arrival I couldn't park there and, surprise surprise, in this game of "he said, she said" he believes them and won't pay the fine, and nothing further to say on the matter....NOW WHAT?0

You go back and read the Newbies Sticky, carefully, wait for the NTK, then take it to a POPLA appeal based on the points mentioned in the thread and on the Equality Act.
Its a straightforward enough procedure which you just need to work through and keep level-headed about it. Start by stopping calling it a fine!
Mind you, if they are claiming its a Magnet car park, then a fairly robust complaint to Magnet themselves, based on the Equality Act and mentioning their refusal might set the cat amongst the pigeons but TBH, this is a dead-cert at POPLA, so you might just be best to hold-out for that.0 -
