    Ninth Anniversary
Maman- you are right of course what am I waiting for? It was DS1 who suggested waiting (her partner)but I will text her today and see if she has a free Saturday in the next couple of weeks. I think my son just thought it would be a new start when OH had moved out.

I have been looking through all the products I have-loads of them! They are not doing much sat in boxes I will start to use them and see which are best for me -maybe a chat with someone in B***s might help.

Going for walk with dog have been doing a couple of miles a day since the bomb shell and also going to look at slimming world -why wait till after Christmas?

Big hugs to everybody who need them

If you're interested in Slimming World, There's a lovely supportive thread on here

I'm posting quickly because there's apparently a voucher to join free in this week's Woman magazine. So (rounded up) you get to save the £5 joining fee and only the weekly £5 class fee. If you never went again, you'd get the introductory talk and all the books that explain the plan.

    Evening :)
I was having a read through this thread earlier today and I can honestly say it has made me give myself a kick up the bott*m to spend a little time fabbing myself each day. A few times my OH, very gingerly, has mentioned my eyebrows/legs need a little tending :o the legs never get long enough to plait and I don't have a monobrow going on :rotfl:, but I stopped keeping on top of them as much as I used to!! I also don't quite keep on top of my hair colour as much as I should :o:eek:
Well tonight after my shower I had a nice face mask, moisturised my whole body and popped some soap and glory foot moisturiser on before my socks. I'm hoping to keep my healthy eating on a better track, moisturise my whole body each night including feet and take one day each week to have a nice soak in the bath.
Just wanted to say thank you :) , hugs to those in need!!

  • Go all,
Nt much happening here, was out tonight too ne of the smaller bonfires and displays before the bigger one tomorrow. Me & oh had a nice time there.. I'm glad he persuaded me to go back out. I them when there...

Healthy eating has been a bit hit and miss so I have included a green veggie juice ( home made) to try and eek up the healthiness factor too. Trying to increase my water intake too.

Off work now till Monday with OH, so lots of movie watching and making done nice food. Need to do some clearing out of rubbish too before Christmas comes...

Great start newthrift. Starting new habits is good. I like to get my eyebrows waxed regularly, that gives a good shape then it's easy to keep on top of it. Oh and LL is a great advocate of putting some perfume on every day. It all helps.:) Thanks for posting.
  • I agree good eyebrows and I flick of mascara really open up your eyes. A lovely perfume always makes you feel good. Don't keep them for best, feel best everyday :)

  • Good Morning

It's lovely and sunny here and I'm feeling great having not been back long from a 7 mile run. I've also got Aerobics and Circuits tonight so should burn up a few calories.

I'm wearing one of my new pair of Per Una Charity shop bargain jeans (dark blue) today with a long sleeved black top under a navy and white striped cotton jumper with a boat neckline. My hair looked a bit wild after being out in the damp (I've had a bath but don't wash my hair every day) so I've tied it up in a knot and fastened a blond scrunchy that looks like carefully waved hair round it so it looks quite good.

I must get my eyebrows waxed again as I stopped having them done when I had an eye allergy and stopped going to have an eyelash tint. I've never been able to wear mascara and am reluctant to have my eyelashes dyed again even though the allergy wasn't related to the tint. I still have problems with my eyes and have to take anti histamines every now and then when they get red and itchy. I never found out the exact cause of the allergy but I think its cat related. As DS has 2 very furry cats and I babysit at their house and have DGD round here a lot I can't escape contact completely so just have to be careful. I usually take my lenses out and wear glasses if I have to go round there.

I've just managed to declutter slightly. I'd advertised DGD's cot bed and car seat and someone wanted to come and look at them. They've taken the car seat but sadly didn't need the bed so shall have to hope someone else wants those. Still it's a bit more space though I shall now have to put the cot bed away again after getting it out of storage.

Right, ironing next as I've been putting it off for the past couple of days and really can't any longer.

I mentioned having my eyebrows done to DH last night, he looked at me as if I was insane, declared women with perfect brows to look weird and then gave me another confused look! Ha! I'll probably leave them as they are in that case.

I've been doing a few bits and bobs, nothing major. Bought a really nice Seasalt cardi from the charity shop yesterday, £3.99, looks like new even though it didn't have tags on. I was very pleased as I've been on the hunt for a shorter length one.

    Have a good day.

    Good morning lovely ladies.

Beautiful day here - feels great to be alive on a day like this.

    Good news......

All internal construction work now complete.:j:j time for a massive clean up and then paint rollers at the ready. So.....on track to get straight for Christmas.:D

Welcome Newthrift, take it nice and easy - just a little bit of fabbing each day and you will soon see a huge difference. The main difference will be in your happiness and contentment levels. Once you start to fab up the world seems a much cheerier place. Don't ask me how or why - it just seems to work.

Rose - I get itchy eyes too, so I use anti allergen eye drops, any old chemists own make. You can get them over the counter, around £3. I find them very helpful, especially with all the plaster dust and of course stray cat.....

Some great charity shop bargains by the sound of it;)

    Keeeeep fabbing.
