Lesson Learned I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your OH. However in your usual way you talk about it in the most positive and uplifting way. Sending you and the boys all my love, you are all in my thoughts xxx

  • Sorry to hear your news LL.

I hope you get peace and tranquility to reflect and work through your emotions...precious time with your boys.

In the end he died free from pain, with music and photos and you and the boys there ...more importantly he knew he was loved.

When it comes to the journey to the next stage and whatever awaits there none of us could have asked for a better passing over.

    Blessings be xx

LL I haven't 'known' you long but my heart goes out to you and your boys. You write so eloquently of your love and loss. I'm glad your love, when he had to go, was at peace. I hope you can find peace too. Take care

Did you see that spectacular moon last night

Wow, treasured moments LL, I am glad to hear you are feeling relatively at peace.

I didn't see it myself but not much happens here, so the 'SuperMoon' did make front page headline news - I hadn't actually thought about it in the wider context of it being seen the world over.

    Good morning everyone

Just dropping by to say hello and let you know that We are doing ok

We have been busy but I'm managing to sleep surprisingly well and I am pacing myself. There is a lot to be done but were just doing it step by step.

As you know I hurt my back last week and whilst it's healing nicely I have decided to go for a massage today.

I feel fragile at times so I just take time out when I need to rest.

One of the nurses asked me yesterday what was I going to do with myself from now on.

My answer was simply this. I am going to build myself a life.

My husband was the love of my life. That love will be with me always to guide and sustain me. His zest for life was infectious and I know what he would say to us all.

He was a huge fan of the Carry On Films so - in his memory.........

LL, I probably don't need to say this to you as you are au fait with such things, but don't be surprised or distressed if "the floodgates open" after/during your massage, happens a lot I gather. Difficult at the time, but for the best I believe.

    Take care. xx

    Good Morning :D

LL Good to hear you are taking care of yourself, just do what feels right for you at the moment.

My head is spinning a bit at the moment. As you know I am trying to drop a bit of weight but my approach to date has been ineffective and I don't know what to do next. Im just so fed up with it.
