Hello!
Thanks Natty and Dusty for respective lists, and am pleased to report that the flat looks fairly presentable, but as my school report used to say "could do better".
Sort of Rant Alert
June hasn't been the best month for me this year - think I will fail the challenge as after getting my computer running fairly smoothly, my internet connection (a dongle) decided to give up its ghost so am back in my local libraries using their computers. Finances could also be better - my pension stays at the same rate, but household costs go up? Who's idea was that? When I've got more time to sit in front of it, I'll do a money makeover. Also, haven't been sleeping well, so daytimes haven't been much fun either. The End
Counting My Blessings
1. Have rediscovered that I'm crafty! Am working my way through a load of double knitting yarn by crocheting squares and am hoping that by the end of July, they will be sewn up into blankets or other items and sold (touches wood). 2. Nice weather, not too hot. 3. Wimbledon started today.
Right, home beckons, so hope to post again soon.

Hi - sorry I'm running late ! I'm in again this week please.
Thanks Natty for this thread and Dusty for last week and Bossy for the challenges.
Hope you soon feeling better froddington - horrible having a sore throat.
elsiepac - good way to help oven clean is to stand a bowl of boiling water in the oven while the oven's still hot after cooking and shut the door. When you come back later when both cooled down, you should find loads of gunk will wipe off where the steam has acted
Good luck with your first week !!
cally-c . Sorry for the bad news about redundancy. I know what it's like as it happened to me two years ago
Mrs MP - you have my sympathies with the mare's tail as I know you can't get rid of it. The roots go down for ever eh  It's a survivor and fossils of it have been found from millions of years ago. Amazing eh.
If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Hi all
I've achieved NOTHING so far today! Well, full day at work but have been home an hour and only made it to the garden (I've brought my laptop though so surely I get a bonus point!)
Thank you all for oven suggestions, I'm going to have to leave it this week as don't get paid till Thursday and I have next to nothing in my cleaning stocks - seem to have depleted suddenly!
So everything on my list is still to do! Sigh
Musty Monday ~ Kitchen

2. Feed hamster and degus M T W T F S S
3. Feed geckos M W F S
4. Wipe down kitchen surfaces M T W T F S S
5. Exercise from my challenge lists
My List
1. Put all clean clothes away that are now dry
2. Bedding to dry
3. Towel wash on
4. Towels to dry
5. Recycling down from spare room and into bags
6. Tidy lounge except window sill HS (I have a HUUUGE window sill , big enough for two to sit on with legs up so it accumulates "stuff"!)
Don't want to go inside just yet as so lovely and warm, so think I might have dinner now while sat outside (just a frozen veggie paella - end of the month freezer raiding!) and then tidy up the kitchen on my way through after food, then upstairs sort out the lounge and all the clothes and stuff.
Make a start on the animals, have an hour of tv while the hamster has his run around, then finish off and try and get to bed and read for a decent time as my shifts have been switched from days to earlies for the next two days so have to get up at 5 (or thereabouts;) ).

Just logged onto facebook and notice a flylady friend is a facebook friend of someone I know IRL! (small world)
Vibes needed for tomorrow please, I have an interview for a p/t job which will dovetail beautifully with my other p/t job when I go back onto p/t working and will keep the wolf from the door (Not you, Lamewolf, obvs)
Thank you Natty and Dusty for keeping me going!
My neice and her fiance are on Homes under the Hammer this THURSDAY - and you're all in on their little secret - they didn't 'tell' on the programme! (If you recall I'm to be a Great Aunt;))
Note to self - set SKY!

Hi all, had to be in work for an early meeting at 8am. Flagging now.
Elsie, I know what you mean about the animals. I love walking the dog but its at least an hour out of my afternoon and sometimes I dont really have the time.
Sooo, just the basics really. Quick whizz round L@dl. Three loads of washing, including one bed stripped. Downstairs hoovered very quickly, roast dinner done for tea and a bit of general tidying here and there. Must sort the breakfast bar which seems to have accumulated a big pile of stuff. I should also wash the kitchen floor really.
Right, going to do another half hour then crash I think.0 -

Welcome student mum, pleased to have you with us.

Fingers crossed Valli - Up for some flylady supply this summer?
Cricket abandoned due to heavy rain, home early so will boss DS3 to get homework done and get myself organised for tomorrow - meeting at 7:15 - that should not be legal (and I've not read all the papers yet?)The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Thanks YorkshireLass - I think people think I'm mad with so much time for the animals but the three furries do like a lot of interaction and by the time I've done everyone's food and water and played with the furries the time seems to have flown by!
Anyway, suddenly had a spurt and done fairly well...

To be honest I'm not going to get to the recycling or the window sill HS so I'll have to carry over to tomorrow.
Still need to do my exercise, put towels to dry when finished washing, put clean clothes away, and put Houdini the hamster to bed (he's having his nightly run of the spare room.
My kitchen is looking lovely and clean though! Didn't put the DW on as nowhere near full and I won't need anything in it tomorrow. That's at least some water and electric saved! :j
I won't update again today I promise, unless it's to cross out stuff above!
Hope everyone's had a lovely day and thank you so much for already motivating me to get ont with stuff and not just whittle away my evening!
