Elsiepac, I'm afraid the only way I could get ours clean was an evil specialist chemical from k1eeeze. I tried everything else but it was so bad nothing touched it.
    Better is good enough.

Back again to report in before the paid stuff kicks in. In addition to the dailies I've stripped and remade our bed, so 2nd washload already in, and I've hoovered through the house. After the paid stuff, I need to water plants and cut the grass.

    Catch you all later.

I'm in, though I do need to get into the garden again. I will make it look tidier if it kills me! Which it probably will!
There's something wrong with my word processor, won't let me copy n paste  so I have type up each list
Went to bed earlier last night with back/shoulder pain and a headache, left DD2 to cook herself some tea. Woke up to find my front room and kitchen "snowglobed" as in everything everywhere! Not a happy mum this morning!
DD1 taken to work, DW loaded and on, coffee finished. Now going to hang out some washing . . .

    DW done.. needs refeeding.
WM x1 .. in a sec when I dressed Pixie.

Moomin and Tiddles sent to school with bare feet and hair unbrushed.. they WILL get ready quicker tomorrow.. 40 minutes to eat a bowl of cereal.. really!!! I had both the littlies fed and dressed and out the door in that time.

Most stuff cleaned up from yesterdays BBQ/party.. I sent most of the remaining food home with DS1 :p

I need to get some food out for tonight because I will be tempted to get takeaway which I refuse to pay for otherwise. Dot was very naughty last night and had OH up at 3am so a very sleepless night for us. I swear her sleeping habits are getting worse!!

I need to sort my list of this weeks appointments!

    I'm multi-tasking posting and paid stuff ;)

DS has taken his star photo of his dad in for show and tell. Quiet word was had with teacher - no idea what he's planning to say. I'm sure I am more worried about it than he is.

We are very tidy here (apart from my garage of doom) so it's ready for cleaning when I get a work break. Ahem. Think I'm having one of those now :shhh:

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Just having a coffee break before I start accounts/taxes ;)

    - All dailies done, I've even washed the breakfast dishes even though there was hardly any lol
    - livingroom blinds are now back up (I just need to take the paper down now when they've dried off a bit, I don't want them taking the paint off my window display!)
    - my bedroom blinds down, washed, and back up
    - cleaning cloths in having a no cleaners wash (then I'll wash them again with soap powder, just washing them doesn't seem to get them clean, especially when I've done the brass)
    - sofas stripped ready for stuff to be washed
    - all laundry brought downstairs ready for washing
    - additional order for work put through#
    - email sent to work querying the £58 recharge and pointing out there is another £52 worth of stuff they're showing as not returned but not yet recharged which was in the same box!

I think I'm having a productive morning again :j:j Back later
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

How do you clean your ovens? I don't want to buy one of those kits because I try and keep my cleaning as natural as possible

    LC x

    Hi :)

Try bicarb of soda. No idea how dirty your oven is, so you may need to do a long clean every week for 2-3 weeks using this if it's bad. From then on you can probably do a clean once a month or a quick clean every 2 weeks :)

Mix the bicarb with water in a bowl to make a medium thick paste - you need to be able to spread it and it not to slip down the oven walls. Ideally do it in a cooling oven (say 30-40mins after using it) Coat the oven liberally with it and leave for as long as poss - overnight is good :) Then wipe out the dried bicarb - should bring lots of grime with it. You can then spray the walls/ base of oven with vinegar to react with the remaining bicarb (think of those volcano experiments at school:D) and then wipe it all out with a very damp cloth until all bicarb has gone.

It takes longer than using chemicals and may take a few attempts to get it really clean if oven is bad but there's no choking/ burning sprays involved! :D

    Afternoon Flyladies

Zero flying done here but a busy morning nonetheless.

    DS2 dropped off at school
Pharmacy visited, face powder purchased to replace the one I smashed on Tesc0's floor on Saturday night :o
Doctor's appointment made for DS1, I think he has psoriasis on his scalp :(
DS2's sports day attended, his team won :T
Popped to the garage where my car had been serviced as I discovered they had not stamped the service record. Horrible woman on the office didn't even apologise for the inconvenience
Quick blat round Sainsbobs for essentials
Popped to H0mesense for a replacement photo frame as I managed to break one at work a week or so ago :( Also picked up a lovely new vase
Which led me to the M&$ next door for flowers, they cost more than the vase :o
Home, shopping away, flowers dumped arranged, YS pork joint in the slow cooker with barbeque sauce for sarnies this week

Having a sit down for 15 mins before I have to take my car to the dealership half an hour away to have the safety recall in the clutch dealt with. I should be back in time to collect DS2 then it's homework and a tidy of their room before going to The Outlaws for dinner.

If I don't sleep well tonight, there's something wrong!
