Oh well
Maybe Sky don't want all the "I'll go to virgin" at the end of the 12 month period.0 -
There are simply too many channels as far as I'm concerned.
I mean, History 2 was showing the X Files recently. That is a clear sign that there are not enough history programmes to sustain a second History channel, so it needs to be shut down.
Discovery has been showing historical dramas, and fake documentaries like Moonshiners and dodgy "documentaries" about the Amish. I shouldn't have to sit there watching a documentary channel wondering if it is a fake or not.
If I am paying for documentaries I should get documentaries.
Not my problem anymore as I have cancelled my subscription.0 -
The important word are MAY And upto this has been in sky terms and conditions for years and the max rise has been 2.5 percent0

Hoping for a 50% discount?0 -
And for every person that says 'I will be leaving Sky when my minimum term is up because of the price rise', there will be just as many people saying the same about Virgin and their price rises. No doubt with BT and TalkTalk as well. Haven't Netflix also announced a price rise recently?
Unfortunately it's the way it is. Things go up in price. They all do it!0 -
Isn't the sky model similar to alton towers?
ie. High prices (that only the gullible ever pay) which they can happily heavily discount with codes and retention offers so the punters think they're getting a deal too good to give up0 -
No it isnt0

Thanks RedX - we've amended the price in the quote - thanks for flagging. MSE Paloma0
