What are my rights if I want to return car to dealer?

No, any thread which yet another customer ripped off by a used car dealer, you come along and troll with your usual advice. Which is always 'leave it, if they fix it, they're dong you a favour' As a used car troll, you're a master! But enough, the op can see you're trolling yet again today, so you carry on if you want to.0

My viewpoint was as per everyone elses except yours - the dealer must fix it, refund or replace, but you need to get the car to him.
Yours was "demand a refund".
Also i dont know where you are getting this that i purposely support the motor trader on every thread by default. You clearly dont read my posts then0 -
So did we find this law then..?0

I had a guy with a broken road spring on his 2005 Vectra a few years ago.. Came back demanding a refund saying his car was a death trap.. Which I was concerned at.
Turned out he'd been to kwikfit for a puncture a month after he bought it from me and they spotted the spring.. then said it needs discs, pads, shockers, tyres and back box..
So I replaced two springs (my view is that if one has snapped, the other will be close behind) and offered to put a new MOT on at a council MOT centre in his home town.
Result: Passed.0 -

Sadly more and more typical these days and one of the reasons why i got out.
Still, good that you (as i would have done) went the extra mile to ensure the customer went away satisfied.0 -
Cool story. Cue more back slapping from other dealers.0

Wouldnt normally offer a free MOT several months down the road, but this spaz of a customer was doing my head in with "death trap" comments and muttering CAB/TS - but I always say to customers "when you go to CAB or TS, please invite them to contact us.."
A guy with a 307 1.6HDi once went 8000 miles over his service, but then moaned like hell when his turbo failed.
He had it towed to our garage, so I moved it onto the double yellow lines outside and reported it as abandoned.0 -

That story I do believe. Customers are a"spaz" and you"ll dump the knackered car you sold them onto double yellow lines. I've no doubt motorguy will be slapping you on the back again shortly!0 -

Wow, you really are a knob aren't you?

And no, I'm not a car dealer0
