Made some fruit rasp/blackberry jelly for ds's lunches - the kid kind of jelly not the on toast kind of jelly.
Must do a bit of cleaning before I get the young man from the local station. Or I could go and walk the dogs and explore the town where the train is as I've not really done that yet.
Ponders.

Waves and have a great thursday folks.
KC and Cheery - twas for a bit of nonsense writing but nevertheless was paid. For a kids book, a bit of technical flowery stuff.
I'm in the middle of writing a short story for a competition. I'm torn between something deeply sensible and my original attempts at a superhero mum who by day is meek and mild (in the manner of hong kong phoey) and by night she slays the neighbourhood of slugs.
Shh no one suspects she's single handedly saving folks gardens from tyrants as they sleep.
One week til we decide what's what up here. Hope those who can vote do. No matter your thoughts on the subject - this level of engagement with events is unprecedented. So lovely to see so many folks engaged. Not so lovely to see how cruel some folks can be, after all folks we all have to live together after too.
