:rotfl:Pips you are wonderful no matter what state your head is in!:rotfl:
Mine is also a bit overused and foggy atm with all the extra stuff we have to do to organize mum-in-law's funeral and settle the 'estate' (such as it is). Thank goodness she was such an organized person - everything chosen & prepaid!

Morning (ish) all.
Me days are a' higglety pigglety. TRG returneth from his american tour later today. I've been up (before) the skylarks driving DS to work. Cannae say I'm a fan.
Banked a cheque
Painted a room at flat
Did two loads washing
Bought tin foil, sugar (cordial) and hot choc (DS)
Hens fed and eggs collected (5)
Managed to sway someone to change their vote from undecided on independence due to a major discussion on green energy and energy politics and found some evidence to back up me arguments
I don't normally meddle, but all this 'we've nowt but oil and its running oot' stuff does me heid in. Wind, solar, tidal, wave, AD, etc - sheesh folks we've LOADS of choice!!!
Us green types aint so unresourceful as to not have an energy mix or two up our sleeves.
I'm sure they were sorry they asked. You can clearly take the biomass out of the girl, but not the girl out of the biomass.
All before 10.30 am - so that's kinda funky
Spends £2.58
Brownie points for continuing to get flat ready - about 2
Quality time with DS - 1hour
Banked £50 cheque
Just doing beds etc before himself collapses into one feigning jet lag.
Yeah yeah I saw the beach/pool photos.

Scotland is far more advanced when it comes to green energy IMO. Driving through the country and we saw so much more examples of this than we ever see down here. The rest of the country could do with looking further north for tips.
Just my opinion sorryGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Weekend plans?
We are celebrating little sis's birthday. It's a big one. The women of the family are doing a workshop making bath bombs in the afternoon then dropping the littlest "woman" off home to her daddy before the older 3 (me, mam and sis) go into the "big city" for a meal and a drag queen!

Never apologise for an opinion.
And aye I know what you mean we've lots of R&D in this area here and throughout Scotland - we're lucky.waves hello.
I made it to the land of the stamps today
xx
ETA - weekend nae clue -looking for inspiration that doesn't involve paint.

PS Greta is officially the fluffiest chook in Scotland.
Or at least in this garden.
I've let the others out to 'rampage' erm I mean be free range as we speak.

Resting & sorting paperwork & banking - not too exciting but necessary!
Starting the weekend with Friday dinner comprised of red sticker posh sausages and posh baby veg. 70p for a dozen fancy chorizo & 99p for sprouting broc and baby courgettes. Leftovers will be cooked up tomorrow into a paella - some fishy bits from the freezer added in. Two meals for about £2 - not a bad haul.:)4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Sounds like an ace haul RT hope the paperworking is going grand.
I do like a bit of leftovers, and anything rice based always gets a big tick from me.
Starnac I'll ask the girls to ready themselves for a photo shoot later.
Morning lands. Man its Sunday already.
So those of us with kids that have flown to university might be finding this first week a bit wierd. Although DD has been off away in far lands and only returned home last week, its mighty odd to think of her so close in the city but another world away.
We're due to skype later. That will be nice.
Less than three weeks of DS left too. Life will be a bit stranger after, strange good, but strange.
The week ahead is not fully formed. Working, a few visitors popping in and that's about all I know so far.
TRG's awa' off on his bike for a few hours so I'm catching up on online stuff.
Kettles on, banks etc first I guess.
Had a few spends (£14) yesterday reduced chook, bread, crisps and cheese.
All good I guess cupboards well full. Declined some F&C with TRG as not really fully recovered from this cold yet so not really empty enough for a splurge like that.
Happy Sunday folks hope your days are funfilled. Or at least quiet if you'd like some peace.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

:wave:Hi Pips!
How are things in your neck of the woods this weekend? Any massive lists in the works?
I'm attacking the laundry piles & doing our weekly meal plan this morning. The freezer is slowly being emptied so that it can have a good defrost! We mainly use it for red/yellow stickered meat & veg deals these days. Though there are two pieces of cheese in there that are awaiting inspiration - an apricot wensleydale & the last of the cheap paneer!
Had a stock take of the store cupboard this morning & have discovered that I can bake goodies for the rest of the year (perhaps well up to Easter next) - not that either of us needs 'sweet' or 'pudding' as OH calls it! May have to devise a strategy to take homemade cakes to work on occasion to start making inroads in to the stocks, much of which was gifted.:o4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!!
