Gin is absolutely healthy and as it's made from berries, it's one of your five a day
I'm on a bit of an economy drive at the moment too, although Mr Mooo is trying to put me in the poorhouse by eating a loaf of bread every two days
I need to do a meal plan today...0 -
Having consulted the fridge/freezers. Wur meal plan looks like thus.
PS Is MR MOO related to my son? He's a loaf of bread every 23hours kinda boy.
PPS - all those berries and herbs I'll be healed in no time eh?
All visitors now away, trg is in america on tour from tomorrow (watch out for posters in your area) so its just me and the DS.
Today - me, him and son - fish med style with toms and courgettes from garden
Tues - me and son - sausage and mash
Wed - me and son and potentially DD - something pasta-ish I'm guessing with chorizo and ham.
Thurs - me and DS - omlettes use up eggs and veg
Fri - normally a takeaway but I can't afford one. We do have various leftover takeawaysish stuff in freezer so probably that
Sat - TRG returns from his American tour - fajhitas
Sun - roasty dinner (chook in freezer).
Veg and salad from garden.
No shopping spends required this week until TRG's home from tour when we might need milk.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hi Pippi
I hope this cold of yours gets a move on and boogers off, not nice at all. Fancy your DS entering his 3rd year ... dear me, thats, um. It seems like yesterday he went!
Good meal planning there - TRG is likely to be v tired this weekend, no, tripping back and forth to America in all his RGness! Use up those herbs and berries while he's away2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Aw KC just like yesterday indeed.
Morning lands - quite an early start today, waving off the masses and taking DS to work.
Brekkie time now.
A few chores to do and work.
Banks etc to check
Just the usual, you know the score.
And speaking of scores - apples in abundance must see if I can find some suitable recipes for beverages and freeze some for puds etc.
Chooks had a bit 'free time' in the garden yesterday, mainly attacking hte dogs but aside that they seemed in great fettle.
Who knew chooks had such cunning formation skills.

Lovely to see you back. Glad you've had a lovely time even if you do have a pesky cold
TRG on tour hey? Hope he's not too tired when he gets back.
Hope the Barbie's are behaving themselves and not making too much mess. I'm sure a certain lady's piggy bank could be raided for postage costs.

Pesky chooks KC
Starnac he's off for a meeting which probably won't take long but he needs to be there in person. Knowing how much he hates flyign you can understand a 5am taxi wasn't just that welcome this am.
Off to the PO latertell DD to guard her pennies
Done a bit of work, stacked a whole pile of logs and deslugged some areas of my life.
My CC has reminded me I've a balance to pay isnn't that kind.
Must do banks etc whilst I have a cuppa

So I paid the balance of the CC in a one'r - made me eyes water but no interest to pay is always better.
Checked banks - my word we're squeaky. Travel and no pay from ooop north until mid Nov. Must get those expenses away.
Need to write invoice and expenses for 'tother' p/t job.
Life's now down to under £500 a month wages. Its certainly making me breath in a bit.
Lots of lovely visitors means the fridges/freezers are rather full so I do need to only get the bare minimum of any type of spends this month.
Sigh. I thought at some point it was supposed to get easier.
Seriously thinking about another p/t job locally. Although MR TRG reckons I need to me finger out in the garden and get propagating etc.
Frozen some tomatoes today
4 eggs so far. Hen money is already £9 this month due to very kind chumsnot that the hens are laying at full speed anyway.
Logs all topped up and about to tackle the kindling.
A huge pan of apples a brewing on the stove.
Grass needs cut and I do need to fathom a plan for the remainder of the day - cleaning beckons so I'm sure I'll find something outside to do.
I never did get that cuppa.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I think I need to start my 'patchwork' spreadsheet again.
I've a billion plants that need propagated that I could sell on
and likely a billion wee bills to pay at some point too.
My spreadsheet kept up my chin.
Thus far this month
4 full work days at learning factory
2 full work days at womble central
£9 egg money in tub
*must reply to kind lady offering a wee financial reward for some help I gave her. Didn't like to but its all adding up I guess.

A wee list
August expenses for work + invoice
Travel expenses for teaching
Bank £50 cheque for some writing
Sort out fridge/freezer and start to squirrel 'visitor grub'
Kindling to sort out
Logs to fill into baskets and move
Courgettes and veg to pick
Chooks to feed (again)
Walk mutts
Charity shops for coathangers for DD
Wrap up barbies and post
Charity shop for more crockery
Cleaning at least wipe skirtings in a few rooms
Ponder replacement for day bed - bigger day bed or sofa bed in the office - not sure I want a proper 'double' in there but be handy to have it set up
Look into insurance for DS on car.
They'll be more but that will do for now.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
