  • Thank you I googled the team, whom all look appropriately dedicated (aka scruffy and muddy) I think I'll fit right in, should I be lucky.

We'll see, its a long interview process with tests etc.

May the best scruffy muddy person be chosen.

And thanks for the good wishes.

Now, what can I scrub off my list........

We have cheese and meat for sandwiches, a fair bit fruit/veg and we have general 'store cupboard stuff'.

    We're missing

    Fizzy water
Larger tatties (use up peedie ones first)
    Fish
    Meat
    Noodles/cous cous

I'm currently performing miracles with rubbery carrots in a glass of water. They should come good and perk up, and join us for dinner on Sunday with some cabbage.

So not too much shopping required to start the month off nicely.

Taken out a frozen chook for sat/sun
Taken out the leftovers of the last one.

    Meal plan thus

    Picky lunches/packed and salady stuff
    Brekkie from the stores

    Roast chook with gubbins
BBQ picky tea with tattie salad
Spag bog, garlic bread and pasta
Special fried rice (leftover chook) with HM spring rolls
Tuna and noodles with a sweet chilli sauce
fahjitas (turkey) with leftover dips and HM flat breads.
    Fritatta's or quiche/omlettes.

    That should do us nicely.

Well done on the job interview, fingers crossed.

OH needs to have an injection in his back. If that doesn't work he needs an op. Gulp! the joys of self employment.

I had bank account hacked. All sorted and HSBC were brilliant.

I have put noodles and cous cous in a bag for Dad to bring you tomorrow xxx

  • Morning lands!

Wiks clever greenhouse-moving-papa arrives today later on so must get a wriggle on and organise myself for him coming.

Thank you puts cous-cous and noodles off the list. :)

L - hugs to OH and hope the 'jection works. Really thinking of you all. Weathers turned chilly here. I was so use to this tropical heat I'm actually quite cold. EEEK to bank account hacking. Glad your 'provider' sorted it quickly for you.

Beanie its annoying when you're waiting for folks isn't it. I hope the cat isn't lockedin/out with legs crossed/uncrossed etc.

RT - eau du tea tree is nice, tell him to use a peg on his neb.
Tell MR RT thank you for not disturbing us on his arrival - it was him who ate half the loaf during my slumber wasn't it.

The job good wishes are gladly received I did get a rejection from the local uni yesterday too but hey you can't have everything.

Roots and veg looking a bit tired in water I hadn't heard of before until I joined the job up north - although it makes total sense when someone mentions it. I'll pass on any other gems as they appear in my email box. :)

Beanie I really hope the tradesmen appear soon.

Well that's the morning here, a bit cold and blustery.

I shan't use the A word yet, but there are trees heaving with berries.............just saying.

Today a bit of shopping (crossing noodles and cous cous off the list thanks to WIK)

A bit of a walk with OH and the mutts

    Chooks to clean out

    Chores to do

And must relook at yesterdays list.

The boys were very late home from work so a takeaway was ordered and collected enroute. DS paid, which was nice, if a bit unnecessary. He'll not be allowed to treat anymore or his funds will diminish.

Must take some photos of the gals and the garden.

2 months since we flitted. Wowser.

Morning worlds - usual drill - bank, cuppa, seize the day and all that.

Whatever you're up to - have a good un!

  • PS taken a leaf out of a few of your books and am trying to nab a few NSD's

I've blatantly copied many of you and gone for 15 days.

Today will be a bit spendy I think so I'll try for my first one tomorrow. Don't want to get too carried away.

Mind on I only spent £2 yesterday so that hardly counts
