Waves hello chaps sorry been awol!

Yup Beanie the results are in and good by the looks of it DD very chuffed. V proud mum here :)

Ellidee and Greying (with the swelled chesticals) thank you both for posting that picture in various places on tinternet.

You are karmacally alligned. It was most welcome too at a time where I'm struggling a bit with life and its nice to be reminded of the 'beauty' and 'lushness of home' and how much I've got to be grateful for.

Speaking of KC I got a postcard the other day and she seems well. Thought I'd pass that on.

L thanks for asking and hows that man of yours. Hope the kids are enjoying their holidays.

A busy week with greenhouses up (YAY indeed starnac) and lots of comings and goings here. Lots of visitors staying too.

    And 'ventures.

We went out after the chores on the mountain bikes today UP and UP and UP a mountain.

Dear Pips is not one for hills so she was quite grumpy. But 10 miles later whilst achey we're happy to have had the chance to be out in such bonnie scenery.

There were chips for tea and no guilt after 10 miles I'll tell ya. Well earnt they were.

I wish you all a lovely weekend whatever you're upto!

    :D

    Sorry for being awol.

  • Keeping a firm 'weather' eye on Hurricane Bertha too as it might splatter us with mega rain and a fair bit of wind tomorrow.

    Warning here.

You can take the girl away from the wind but not take her eye from the weather forecast.........

Be safe out there folks if it hits like its supposed to 50 mm of rain and 60MPH winds.

    Eek.

Well done on the results, DD1 gets her As levels next week. Must admit to not being overly confident, still a shock 'may' make her get her act together for the final year. Off to Beamish today, hope the weather holds.
