Your DS and his girl are going to be so happy to be there with you guys. All your preparations will be wonderful and make them feel welcome and loved. Good mom you are! :T
My youngest has an application in for work with the Department of Health. He hears today and feels like he will get the job. It would be a decent pay wage (big increase for him) and a foot in the door. Fingers crossed and prayers said.
I just love love love FaceTime! My only grand child will be two in June and it has allowed me to see her and talk to her regularly. They live about 5 hrs drive from us so having FaceTime is a God send!! Trip to Albuquerque for The Bday party soon! Of course she's beautiful and
brilliant!:D
I have to severely instruct my OH and DS every time I get a new broom > this is just for inside, not for outside type snarkiness.;)Overprepare, then go with the flow.

DS3 got the job!
It's review work for the Developmentaly Delayed Waiver. Basically, he'll be sythesizing
info/plans submitted by teams for mentally disabled people. (i.e. Therapists, psychiatrists, guardians, agencies etc) and submitting them to the state of NM for funding approval. It's full time and he can work remotely so he can work from home or (theoretically) will be able to visit more often:D and work from here.
It's taken him a long time to grow up...band>gunna be a rock star...
He has worked in satellite homes with mentally disabled people for the last four years and took a second job, last year as a court advocate for them., so he has a good background.
His degree is in anthropology. He is studying to take the entrance test for an M.A in Public Health. (Can you tell I'm proud?)Overprepare, then go with the flow.

New days for your DS! Congratulations to him and to you! :T:T:T:T:T
It's such an exciting time in their lives. A bit of a heart tug for mom, but excitement wins the day. Best wishes to him for his presentation on Wednesday! What is his field of study? And at what level is he at? A thesis in the States means a Masters degree, and after that one could study and do a doctorate for a PHD. Is it the same?
Have a wonderful weekend with DS and his friends!Overprepare, then go with the flow.
