I made the Tom Yum and it was a huge hit! Of course I read the recipe, went and made it and forgot the lemon grass. Duh. I also added veggies, thinly sliced mushroom and orange bells, diced onion and celery, and baby corn. I had thrown out my ???yrs old fish sauce, so added tamari and it was so delicious. This recipe could go so many ways. Very happy you posted this recipe!Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Thanks RT. You got me with cookies :rotfl:
*shift up on sofa guys* We must remember to admire Pippi's cleaning too
Well done to Mila's DS and to Pippi's DS too. Can I add that my DS (obviosuly considerably younger than everyone else's) mastered his balance bike yesterday. He actually took his feet off the floor and balanced while going downhill
Must be a good week for DS's

Excuse the tardy tardy behaviour, I, is been working, collecting **A** stoodents from their last presentations and making giant pavlova's for 50th birthdays
:T clever chickens :T all home made except I didn't grow the sugar. Give me time. :rotfl:
And clever DS's with their balance bikes
Woo hoo's all round I say.
DS started work today and I'm in at work too.
Partying later so a free tea I guess in exchange for a decent pavlova.
I can't reveal all yet as its a surprise.

Indeed me dear, you'll see him soon I think
Mila he's studied bio-engineering specialising in algae to 'grow' biodeisel for his thesis. And he's a few wee vials of his diesel too, his professor helped him to make the final product.
In our lands you do a thesis for your undergraduate degree in your 4th year. Next step would be masters or a phd (although I fear I have put him and my DH off Phd's for life). Cheery can vouch for that.
I am so glad you liked the soup. I think of it as a kind of launch pad for leftovers.
Beanie thank you too. I nearly collapsed at the shopping bill yesterday £75 :eek::eek: Although there was whisky (present) 2 t shirts and some beers/af beers for the party and meringue ingredients.
I needed a wee lie down after.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
