Morning lands - ooh visitors how lovely *waves* and a day of sunshine and adventures yesterday.

    Rainy here the noo (now).

Little_sweetie sorry about the franglais-scots - I do speak scots in my head it seems - glad you translated OK cos that RT lady has a wee grannie who helps here to get the words sorted (when her DH is on strike for cheese)

Lucielle - lovely to see you lass! And, hows life are your clan heading off to anywhere exotic once they break up?

Caz - woo hoo on the bean front :) most exciting news.

So we fed the masses on a mere packet of mince and a goodly helping of soy mince (and 4 leftover lunches boxed and frozen and one tea portion for two).

Brownies made and went down a storm (none left) but a bit dry, me and that oven need to get ourselves acquainted better.

But free eggs so what do I care.

OH's rellies are still here and his 'tother' rellies who visited (they're holidaying in the area) seemed lovely too - nice to have sproglets running around the place.

Bricks on patio are well festooned in chalk drawings. All good fun.

Today - a bit of work, a bit of chill time and a bit of writing.

    :)

Banks, cuppa we all know the drill.

Out for tea tonight with the relies - aside that its hosing down so a bit of focused plotting and planning. Must rake through fridge and make sure all's well in there. Its stuffed full so needs a sort and some things frozen.

So a day of pottering. Or daydreaming, one or t'other.

Have a great day chaps - lets save money out there.

    Must update spends.

    All looking ok-ish with banks

Invoice is in and will get paid into bank by womble folks :) nice people they are.

Need do a budget and start putting money aside for uni etc

Thus far I'm in holiday flip-flop mode - which is fine but not very focused is it.

Garden eating - eggs :D, lettuce, most herbs, tomatoes coming along nicely, two courgettes 'setting'. Peas and beans are flowering and cabbages are coming along nicely in their window boxes and pots. Apline straws have hauled three so far so they were well scoffed.

So basically that's a herb omelette for todays lunch eh? A great start.

    :D

Off to do some pottering whilst occasionally pressing nose against window looking at the downpours.

Chicken breast, smoked bacon bits (the fatty end bits) whizzed together in a mixer and then made into little nuggets, dry pan fried and either finished like that or popped in oven. Bacon bits makes the nuggets juicy.

Need no seasoning nor crumb coating - they are truly lush and nae nonsense in them either, just two ingredients, we all love them.

Wiks dad makes them so they're called grandads naked nuggets.
