Finally in the banks.
£200 to cc
£50 to each kids uni account
No money left lol.
Paid Flights for April by cc with sports equipment and both £205. Dh paid the apartment £200. Working out if we're taking any extras and this might halve the cost of this apartment and car hire. Dates are at end of snowdrop season. Apartment has a sauna, by then my bones will need it.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

The feedback was 'for that price, I'd expect to buy a house, not a flat'
Yes the price (£79500) and the fact that its a two floor two bedroom and a box room spacious large 'flat' were clearly marked on the front of the selling literature.
Well that's just plain ridiculous. As developers (did I read that earlier?) they would have read the literature (or should have) before they went. Time wasters!
I'm surprised it hasn't sold. It looks so lovely in the pictures.
Hope you have submitted both invoices nowGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Inclined to agree with Starnac about them being timewasters...utterly ridiculous, if they genuinely were developers you'd think they'd have done their research properly, no?!
As for the tax return, I ought to go and look for the finger-wagging smiley. April is definitely the way forwards on this, I put mine off a few months last year and cursed myself for doing so.This year will hopefully be my last one - 'twill be in and done and sorted by April 30th - you read it here first :rotfl:

I know EH but I'm just a head in the sand kind of girl.
Grr indeed to timewasters - as you both say - its reasonably priced and if they ARE indeed buying 6 properties, the return on investment for this one is bound to be good 30 mins from the city and five min walk from the trainstation.
Two work meetings, no invoices. Am now frozen but sorted out lots of things.
Really putting the kettle on now.
Oh EH do it the day before and submit on my birthdayTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I once had feedback that they hadn't realised the flat was so close to the railway - well, a quick look at the map would have told them that it was just over the road! And 'two minutes from Waddon Station' in the details might also have been a clue....
Hope you get an offer soon0 -
Do you think people just don't read particulars? When we got the literature on here it stated fine and clear no public transport which we don't mind. But they'd had people before who had said 'we didnt' think it would be this remote'.
Lordy. Hope you're not frozen up there by all accounts the sun is out oop north. Not here though......Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

OK majorly jealous of cauliwobble cheese for lunch! Definitely a genius idea! and yes might indeed use your birthday as the target date for Tax return - so long as you look to get yours submitted the day BEFORE your birthday so you can start your next year with it all done...
*evil grin* :rotfl:
Sun's out "darn Sarf" too - which is a bit annoying really as I'm stuck in the office! Still better sunny than not though.
And yes to people not reading particulars. Daft, but true.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The girls look very disapproving :rotfl:
I'm amazed the flat hasn't sold, I've seen the pics via FB and it looks lovely and, to my mind, a good price. Of course, I'm used to Edinburgh prices and my two bed cost a lot more than £79,000 twelve years ago :eek:0
