  • A world of love that's what it is on here :)

Evening all. I am happy to see you all.....

Pink totally agree - we were all just so 'living' it catching up we all forgot to take even one pic!

Gien - I work for a recycling charity doing their reporting and social media (one part of my job from up north that I kept on one day of) - its great fun.

RT glad to see you're inspiring FA with castles.

I just had a mini rant about family to NON family. Seems that you can pick your friends. Still seething but feeling more loved.

Emotional as feeling a bit ergh I think. Normal service soon.

RT darling the floor got mopped again as if by magic. Its a bit weird I must say. Hope you're all good today. Well after a loooooooooooooong night Mr Me got his next MSc assignment in and I got my work for ooop north printed and bundled up.

    Posting today.

Did a 20 'green tips for dogs' thing -interesting but after a while you can't help but think that you're being a bit preachy.

Although I had no idea you could get flushable dog poo bags. If you're out and about great but whats wrong with a shovel if you're at home?

Anyhows enough about poop too early. Taken a chook out of the freezer as I reckon both me and himself could enjoy a midweek roast.

(reduced of course, dare you expect anything else?)

    Plan for today
Work 6 hours garden 1/2 hour womble
Pick up some bits when doing post in town. Not much
    Scan the reduced sections
Flop after hm meals and a nice recycled wood fire. Filled the logs this am when doing chickens and mutts.

There's a job at local BG (botanic garden) going but its full time and largely retail but it is local and it does have a contract even if the pay is minimal.

    Thinking of applying.

There's also a development post at my own work, proper scary post with contract and salary to match. Also looks interesting but ups the game significantly and its more arty/management than I think I'd like. But also thinking about it too.

Half inclined to email herself and ask for a reference for the other job and see the reaction.

Am pondering that one. Its a bit more 'retail' and a bit less 'mud'.

And we all know MUD is my real specialty

    :D

I'm thinking of disowning anyone in my life who's carp and makes me feel carp. I like to think of it as emotional decluttering.

Lets see if I can actually bag them up and recycle them rather than put them in a corner and hope I can't see them or what they're upto.

  • Fly lady.

This month, you may have all your friends and relatives in your dining room, so let's get ready for that! Is your dining room table a smoldering Hot Spot? Set your timer for 15 minutes and put that fire out! If your dining room table is clear of clutter, give it a good cleaning. Don't forget to look under the table for dust and cobwebs. I always forget to look and am amazed what collects under there!

Oops my dining table currently holds a sewing machine, an overlocker, a drawer of fabric, a jar of buttons, a box of finished items, a pile of off cuts to go in the compost bin, two pairs of fabric scissors, two tape measures (why do I have two of everything??) a pin cushion full of pins and a to do list  maybe I do need to fly lady today :rotfl:

Jobs sound interesting although I would say to think about it before applying. No point going for a well paid job if you are not going to be happy doing it :kisses3:

Oh how I wish I could do this this.
Apparently I like to play the victim.

What a great opportunity. I love the idea of working in a botanic garden but the reality is that I'm best with plants when they're mushed up and in a test tube!

I'm rather impressed by the flylady thing - might give it a go as we are definitely moving and so I need to get this place sorted and presentable. I have to do some painting right now and I am procrastinating...
    Trying to keep in budget.
