    There's a fair bit to it but its really about establishing small changes and routines.

    So far I'm managing

    Up, make the bed.
    A load of washing a day
    A quick blast of decluttering for 15 mins in the 'zone' we are in
    A quick blast of a hot spot for 2 mins (ie where all the carp is piled up neatly now)
    Home made dinner, simples was doing that already.:T
    A quick swish and swipe of the bathroom once a day (takes 30 secs) when I'm in there at some point.

    I'm doing easy flylady...

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Flylady scares me! - think I'll stick to Pips 15 minute daily dose!

    First our missions dear hearts. Straight from the flylady.

    Dear Friends:

    We are in the last day of the kitchen zone.

    Let's take a look at the cabinets. Take a few minutes to check them out, I bet you will see that they need a little sprucing up. Just wipe down the outside surfaces. You will be so surprised at what a difference shining those cabinets will make!

    There is no "right" way to do this. Depending on what your cabinets are made out of is what you will use to wipe the cabinets down. A wood soap, a general purpose cleaner, or just soap and water. A slightly damp cloth will work as well.

    Don't obsess and have fun with this. Look around and see how your kitchen shines!

    Ooh this looks a good one today. It's amazing how dirty my cupboards get with sticky finger prints every where!

    Mine too and its only my sticky mitts starnac :)

    Well yesterday went in a blast of quickness. Dogs to work as out to a show later on.

    23.5 hours of garden work timesheet in.

    Must do some shopping today. And do a bit of a quick 'house blessing' - or run round like a loony and tidy up a bit. Although its not too bad.

    Fly lady mission today is a good one.

Your week has been busy and time has been limited, so spending some special time with your family is so very important today.

    My niece is here so we made pancakes for breakfast which we had with a bit of butter and the later ones with a bit of ice-cream.

    Detailed cleaning for the kitchen. Mines isn't totally decluttered yet but I am going to spend a bit of time today doing some of this.......but not obsessing.

    “This week were are in Zone 2, our kitchens, This is my detailed cleaning list. Please print and add to your notebook. Copy and paste into a word document. Do not try to do this until you have decluttered your kitchen. Spend 15 minutes a day decluttering and then you can start doing some of your detailed cleaning. Do not worry about this. You have not done it in years and one more month isn’t going to hurt anything. Toss out the clutter first. It will be easier to clean.” – FlyLady

    Kitchen: Detailed Cleaning List
    Empty refg/clean thoroughly
    Clean microwave inside and out
    Clean stove/oven
    Wash canister/knick-knacks
    Straighten drawers/cupboards
    Wipe fingerprints off walls
    Wash inside windows
    Clean fan/vent-a-hood filters and hood
    Scrub down cabinet fronts (only a few at a time)
    Clean light defusing bowls (glass globes over light bulbs)
    Clean under sink/throw away old rags
    Clean pet dishes

    That's a mighty long list of things to do...

    three things off my list already...
    no rags! - so that's easy!
    OH already did the microwave...
    We've not yet used our oven - don't have to clean it - been using the bbq since we moved in here! (old habits die hard - this one came with me from across the pond!)

    oooo - and no pets so that makes four...

    fridge will get done tomorrow when we have some groceries to put in it...

    ummmm - will sleep on the rest?????:o:o:o:o:o

    On the pesky pad this am as laptop has being playing up sice windows ten.

    Fly lady today is in the bathroom and one other room.

    Bathroom mission - wipe behind toilet - DONE
    Other room mission is to clear up any 'fling and go' zones (dumping grounds) - NEED COURAGE TO TACKLE OUR BIGGEST ONE>

    I'm tired this am long weekend of family visiting.
