    Hey Pips & stripe gang!

Hope you are all well on this last weekend of August - where did the summer go??????

Today is the first day of a week's HOLIDAY! (just for me - OH still working!)

I don't go back until the 8th yeah!

So for some strange reason I was up at 6:40 - out of bed before 7 - weeded & trimmed growing things in garden by 8 - kitchen all shiney & tidy (including sink;)) by 8:45 when OH showed his face & announces that he's going to put the hoover round today as the house needs a good clean!:o SIGH - men for you...

Today's goal is budget as banks have been hit with paycheques! Some shuffling of money needed to plug the holes before anything leaks and some plans to be made for the week off!

No bargain dinner last night, but ingredients are from freezer so can be used tonight. Last night we "had a moment" and went to a pub on a whim - and ordered full price items - no coupons - no deals :eek::eek: what is the world coming too????? (Actually food & service were lovely and well worth the treat!)

  • Sometimes RT me dear we've earned a nice full price dinner with good service, I'm glad you have one now and again and happy holidays.

    Beanie you're welcome.

And hello world, where did the weekend go?

    Went to bed on Friday
Went to get rid of DD's car on saturday and swap a coffee table with a chum. Then made some sushi and sausage rolls and went to a party.
Late o clock and very sleep-hungover on sunday.
Went to visit Mr Me's ma and do some DIY in flat - at tea late and bed late, very tired today.

Absolutely covered in bites been to see the pharmasist who was mighty impressed at my allergic reactions to them (bite on arm is 3 inches swollen both ways, a tad impressive.

Have more jungle proof anti-bug spray and some creams.

Running behind but need a list.

Article for paper for wombles later - done a half hour this am.
    6 hours garden work
    Walk dogs later
Banks must do a shuffle like RT :)
    Write a time sheet
    Write an invoice
Contact kids think DD is back next week :D
    Home meals
    A bit of washing
And some fly lady (well done on the shiny sink RT ;) )
    Feed chooks and mutts

Have a good un guys, I've lost an hour this am - holy moly.

    Todays mission......

Fly lady mission straight from the email......

    Dear Friends,

We are in Zone 1 for 4 days this week; that is the Front Porch, the Entrance area, and the Dining Room.

Today I want you to spend 15 minutes getting rid of anything that does not belong on your porch or front entrance way. Things that have gotten thrown in a corner, along the wall, or even on the floor. The things that you almost don't even see because they have just become part of the space, get it out! If it does not belong there, then out it goes!

This does not mean that you have to spend three hours in your porch, do what you can do for 15 minutes.
