Ooh, trash in the bedroom - goodness me, I'd best take a giant bin sack
Our bedroom is an embarrassing TIP at the minute - we haven't properly unpacked from our holidays, and there's all manner of decorating stuff in there, plus all the bathroom cabinets we took off the wall. I might even take a picture, it's so bad  :rotfl:
Fortunately we sleep on a mezzanine thingy so once we're in bed we float serenely above it all :rotfl:
Have a good day pipity-pal! xx0 -

You should have your own show!! How many weeks now is it that you've been home shopping?
I guess it is sort of free now - although I'm pondering what to splurge the rest of the loot on.:rotfl:
And barely risotto with sausages sounds lush!!
Decluttering money - that's a new one - I like it!:D
Home shopping - probably since we moved at end of May - we have an abundant pantry and freezer & just inherited more pantry items from bossman who is retiring and moving back across the pond! - I'm pondering on bisto & bovril that are over the BBE date - most stuff was still in date but there are a few items I chucked!Pippilongstocking wrote: »From the flylady.....

BBE bisto etc - I'd be in two minds too. Can you try some and test it on someone near.....saying nuffin.
I don't really get the shiny sink thing with FL but I have to say I'm probably not a great example because now I'm just thinking, I'm not behind - so I'll do a little and then read a bookI think the only thing I'm getting from it is the just do it already bit. Rather than think about doing it all.
I was defiantly FLadying in my bare feet and jimjamsI do like a bit of revolution.
Cheery - I've still not unpacked unless you count shoving all the boxes under the bedSo we sort of sleep serenly floating above our mess too.
Ours is a collective term for MY mess.
So home, made a score of a free salad at lunch, but bought a vol a biscuit so my 'newly found swag' is vastly depleted.
I'm krackered. Someone let the bloody cows into the front lawns at work - looks like they've had a right old party.
So today was glamour on a stick, kneeling and digging hoof marks out of the lawn, filling them in with soil and patting the grass back on.
Its real 'country living' you know.
Off to walk les mutts.
Banked 23.5 hours and did another 6.5 today.

:rotfl: at you filling in hoof marks in the lawn
And defiantly Flyladying in your PJS :S You do make me laugh :rotfl: Not done my bit yet today
But I will! :j
I actually really like the shiny sink thing :j Well, at least *clean*I quite often come down in the morning to last night's tea dishes everywhere wine glasses (oops) and have to wash a bowl before I can have my breakfast and can't get the kettle under the tap for tea because the sink's too full
The idea of doing the dishes before bed is quite revolutionary but makes me feel like a proper grown up when I get up at 6.30am for the train

I do like an empty sink cheery - I swirl it out now, its a big white job so I can't make it shiny.
Can't bear the night befores clobber when I'm trying to make my first cuppa, I can barely co-ordinate myself never mind dish clutter.
Found a new beach at anstruther - I'm a happy girl, love finding new walks.
Bloody bovines, ermentrude would NOT be happy.
I'm off to mow me grass, outdoor hoovering I guess. Wonder if I can do it in 15 mins.....Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Outdoor hoovering
I've just spent 15 mins in the bedroom with a bin bag  probably haven't got all the rubbish but got all the bits I could see (broken coat hangers, crappy bits of fabric, directions to holiday cottage, sweet wrappers...) and did some hanging up pf clothes.
Also taken some before photos  shocking
Still, it'll look better by the end of the week, right?!0 -
It will look epic. That's what I tell myself.
I'm off for a bath, having hoovered the lawn I'm covered in grass clippings.
Dinner done and lunch for tomorrow.well done on the bin bag cheery!

No chips Beanie - don't tell but we prefer the Pittenweem one......much more like proper chips.
RT - proper grown up - good lord not on my watch! Cheery was talking about something she read in books I'm sure. A mythical grown up.
Morning lands.

Dear Friends:
Today we are going to focus on the "stuff" that is hanging around in our bedroom that needs to be put away but we just have not gotten around to. Set your timer for 15 minutes and go to it. Hang up the clothes, put the laundry basket of clothes away, take the coffee mug on the nightstand to the kitchen and turn around and come right back, don't get sidetracked. Better yet, have an empty laundry basket and toss in the things that do not belong in your room and then take the basket around the house and deliver the items. Put things away and get the things that don't belong out of there.
Look around your bedroom and ask yourself if there is anything laying around that you would consider out of place if it was in a hotel room. Your bedroom should be your very favorite retreat!
I'm wondering where the doggy onzie which Mr me sports on occasion falls into this category, its currently on the back of the door. Surely that should go with his cape in the music room??Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
