£25 petrol.
A funny old night of more flat stuff, roof still leaking and its getting a bit irksome, hoped it would be on the market by now.
Today a mixture of paperwork, chores and perhaps a coffee later with a chum. DD might pop in with the first load of her uni stuff.
DS has his last exam tomorrow and then is packing his flat up too.
Gonna be a busy house for a few weeks before they off to their fathers.
Kettles on.
I performed the miracle of cleaning yesterday for two and a half hours. Sparkly house I have, hmm. (unusual this is)
Seeds are up, tomatoes need potted on. Onions are all rooted, still eating kale and the lettuce I got from the 'living salad' supermarket reduction is growing again with gusto.

Pippi - have you seen what Joy from the Red Brick Cafe in Dorset has got into? She's trying to encourage folk to use a stainless steel lunch box, rather than using plastic and is currently crowd funding to get the project off the ground on book of visage......
I think I'd probably bankrupt myself trying to fill one for DP each day......But I like the idea - very much like a tiffin tin.
Anyone in your sphere of influence you can share with to help the project? I see the mention of the marine conservation society's June challenge - wasn't there a connection with your cotton bag project - ie to keep single use bags outta the ocean?

I'm off to see if I can find dimensions, I'm not sure it would work for us, but I do like the idea......
Edit: the box is 2L and the dimensions are; 22cm/15cm/8.5cm

Hey where has the week gone! Thank you greying shared and liked on the work page too. Really interesting project. Fits well with work so thank you for thinking of me.
You'd be so proud I've currently several pallets (some small) which are currently being repurposed for greenhouse stagingyou see eventually I get there.
Morning lands, works done for the week (garden) some womble work to do later.
Kids in various states of flittage. Expecting a busy house soon. Aunty Wik is also up flitting her middle one back to the lands of Englandshire from her uni up here.
I guess I'd best stock up the fridge.
Forgot to hand my time sheet in yesterday, must pop in with that.
Banks, cards, we all know the drill.
Oh and I guess I get to write an invoice too for womble land soon.
Garden is coming on now have onions, lettuce, kale, to eat and lots of things coming.......like dandelions.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Course I'm proud of you love - and I ain't even mr A Fergusson
Thanks for sharing the link. It'd be good if the funding was raised - proof that small projects can get off the ground with 'people power' and it may encourage others to try to do projects in the same manner.
Was thinking of you on Monday (hol) went round a garden staffed mostly by volunteers. No doubting the hard work of them all, but they've moved a mountain and created something of beautyNothing like a restored and 'working' garden to make the heart sing

Hey sounds awesome Greying, love a good garden out of a mountain.
Well its persisting down here and the garden is getting a good water free of effort.
Fires are on, as its baltic (free wood) and I managed to snag two more small pallets by student recycling areawhen picking dd's stuff up.
She returns later with the final load.
£25 spends on petrol.
Changed fence paint to the colour I should have bought and somehow netted £2 refund. (?)
A few bits and bobs out the freezer as if the stoves on best do some cooking.
Heard about another job, p/t seasonal in the garden I volunteer in and been asked if I'd like to consider it. Must find out more. They're advertising for f/t permanent in a month or two so it might give me an opportunity to try before I buy, so to speak.
Weather must be bad as I'm considering 'hoovering'.

Hey Pippi, That job sounds promising. Worth a look to see if it's suitable for you.
Must be exciting to get the kiddies home again. How long will they be staying with you? You'll be overwhelmed with all the bodies in the house again (in a nice way obviously)
The garden is looking great. You have done a fine jobGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
