Welcome back Mr B, it's good to see you are on the up again, you are certainly ruled by your emotions. If you had even half the belief in yourself that others clearly have your sense of achievement in regard to career, weight and debt would benefit and no doubt your blood pressure!
Onwards and upwards..... :cool:0 -
Two posts in one weekend - diligent and committed old me. The number crunching wasn't so painful - weight has wobbled up a bit, but the debt hasn't risen as alarmingly as I feared. Managed to get a >10000 step day in yesterday as well, which is an encouraging sign, and plan to spend much time in the garden today which should burn off a few hundred calories.
Plus there's an unopened bottle of wine in the fridge that had been earmarked for last night so I'm feeling pretty virtuous. Am hoping to extend my virtues to include patience as I'm filling up the Sky box in the back room with copious Game Of Thrones. I've never really got over Lost ending and me and Mrs B have tried to recapture the thrill of having a show we looked forward to and watched together - I can't stand her gorefest of Grey's Anatomy and she can't stand my love of Walking Dead, so I'm determined we'll try GOT again - we got about 3 minutes in episode 1 last time we tried but as it was all horses and dwarves it just left us cold. But everyone I know seems to love it, so maybe we just misjudged it. Hope so, cos I'm likely putting the broadband out of commission for everyone else while I download all 4 series of it.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Popping back in as I've moved house (in MSE forum land). Thanks to a speculative punt at a remortgage that I never thought would go through, I have found myself pretty much Debt Free by accident as all the evil credit cards and store cards have now been paid off. Hence I am parking my caravan in the MFW boards, will be putting my sofa out on the front lawn, staying out til all hours and generally lowering the tone of the place. Job-wise the dream one turned out to be slightly less dreamy in reality, and come September I am going back to my old place to just be a regular drone. And the weight is still yo-yoing around. Hopefully with all the debt now tied up to the house, I will take clearing it a lot more seriously, hence my move over to the other side. Night all.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Hey! Cards all gone I hope. You know the dangers:eek:... but am very glad the pressure`s off for the Bloater clan. I think you're possibly the only credit-challenged person this decade to pull off the old consolidate and remortgage trick (don't think you're a member of the banking:eek::eek: community) but there'll be plenty of people along in a minute to remind you that way new debt lies. Backing you to beat off the dragons of temptation xI have borrowed from my future self

Interesting move Mr B........we will be MF in a few months but done it the hard way along with a successful claim for endowment miselling:) However will still CC debts although the endowment will still pay out a fair sum oddly enough but we are using this to inject into a House Project now rather than wait for the pension payout........as there wont be much of that left we reckon by the time its due:eek: So jam today and all that.
Sorry to hear work front didnt work out.......good luck with the MF journey. I will go and lurk over there now!!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
