Ladies - help me find a good bra!

DD is now 14 and although petite was struggling to find a suitable bra. Again in the Manchester area we visited La Senza who measured her but then had to send her to Boux Avenue as she was a 30DD and their smallest back size was 32. La Senza advised her to write to the CEO to complain (which she did) as they said they were losing business to Boux Avenue. Anyway Boux Avenue fitted her and she looked amazing. Now she knows her size, she has used other shops like Triumph who again provided a great fit. But she cannot get anything to fit in M&S, presumably they don't think teens have that shape naturally....!
Is it the style your daughter is having problems with?
Or is it that all 30DD bras in M&S don't fit your daughter's specific shape?
M&S certainly seem to do a range of 30DD bras (63 here):

Ladies here's a guide on how to measure yourself correctly. Also advises about where a wire should be & a myriad of other things too. http://www.wikihow.com/Measure-Your-Bra-Size
I have been at my largest a 50EE & am now in a 46D as I lost 4 stone in hospital - mostly fluid BTW. But the boobage has shrunk down.

A tip I was given from a small lingerie shop is when putting on a bra, put your arms through the straps then bend forward so that your breast swing free and then drop them into the bra cups.
hold the wires at the sides and jiggle the bra so that your breasts settle into the cups properly then stand up and fasten the bra.
Glad you've had some success.
Are you sure they didn't have a secret camera Pollycat?0 -

Well, TIM1982, I can't honestly answer that but the manager ** did fling the curtain open when I was halfway through trying the bra on and physically bent me over and 'helped' my breasts into the bra.
** Think Mrs Slocombe from Are You Being Served?
The same lady, many years ago when pretty bras for larger busted ladies were very hard to find, told me (in response to my rejection of a bra big enough to carry 2 weeks shopping home in and a request for a dainty, lacy bra) "But Modom has to realise that she doesn't have a dainty, lacy type of bust". :rotfl:0 -

Just wanted to say thanks to OP for starting this thread, and to everyone else for their brilliant suggestions. I've been wearing the wrong size bra for a while, and this thread gave me the inspiration and the push to sort it out!
I didn't want to go to a shop and get measured, because in the past I've had wildly varying results. So I looked at the bravissimo fitting guide, and could see straight away my current bra was a really bad fit.
I then took a trip to Debenhams, on the advice of many posters here. Their 'gorgeous' range didn't go to a size large enough for me, but there was loads of choice in the Freya and Fantasie ranges. I ended up trying on about 20 bras, and in the end bought 5 lovely ones.
I've gone from a 36G to a 34HH, and the difference a properly fitting bra makes is amazing! I feel supported, my boobs are not sagging down by my waist or spilling out of the cup, and clothes look better on me too. Thanks everyone!0
