I have one where the interest is normally paid and 'showing' on the 18th on the website overview and that's had the interest credited fine.
I have one where the interest is normally paid and 'showing' on the 29th on the website overview and that's not had any credited (yet).
Maybe am being a little impatient but both were credited the necessary funds on the same day and normally (as in this time of the morning) the funds would already be there.
Bingo. Normally on the 18th and 23rd for me (or a day or so after), yet nothing in account 2.
It's the only downside of theirs IMO, paying interest on the account monthly anniversary date - every other bank I am with (4) pays interest around the 2nd/3rd of the month!0 -

YB/CB and Nationwide pay last working/calendar day.
Santander, like Tesco, is also monthly anniversary.0 -

They say interest is payable ANNUALLy end 3/15
IS that so ?0 -

Interest rates explained
All balances will receive the standard interest rate of 0.75% Gross/AER (variable).
How interest is calculated and paid
Interest is calculated daily. Standard rate interest is paid to you annually in March and bonus interest is paid to you at the end of the bonus period.
Interest is paid net of basic rate tax, depending on your status.
If you're a non-tax payer and wish to receive Gross interest, you'll need to complete an R85 form. You can find out more about this in our FAQ below:0 -

I've just checked my NW, you're right - last wd/cd. I've normally just checked the amount, never the date as habitually I would check on the 2nd/3rd when checking my others (Lloyds, TSB, BoS).
My 2nd Tesco got credited today. System glitch I wonder?0 -
Just received a letter from Tesco Bank re: Internet Saver, mainly about doing everything online, which makes sense. Also mentioned is "We may choose to limit the number of Tesco Bank Savings Accounts you can hold at any one time"
So, writing on the wall re DD's0 -

So, writing on the wall re DD'sCredit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
So, writing on the wall re DD's
Are we sure that clause (if indeed it is a clause, and not general text within the letter) wasn't there before?
Anyway, if it is a new clause my money's on it being introduced not to thwart multiple DDs (how could it anyway?), but to help them tidy up their systems due to people bonus hopping and not closing their old accounts down*.
* As I've done recently, because I needed room for some funds that wouldn't fit in my current accounts, and didn't want to mess with the DDs on my old Internet Saver.0
