    I note that you applied for two accounts there Innovate. I thought that might be a bit confusing for their systems so I applied for then when it's up and running I'll go for another.

    Agree, it's a bit of a leap of faith to try both at once and hope for both getting opened. They do have different application reference numbers, so it might still work out ok, we shall see.

    BTW, I tried a 3rd one, too, but computer said no.

    Tesco Bank stopped selling the Clubcard Plus account years ago

    They may not be taking on new customers but existing customers still get the benefit.

    A couple of times the magnetic strip on the card has become de-magnitised, and Tesco have sent me a replacement within a few days.
    Thank you for reading this message.

    Lets compare it to other accounts;
    - You can earn 5% AER on £2,000 in one TSB Classic Plus account; on £4,000 if you hold two; and on £12,000 if you're part of a couple and open six.
    [/b]

    Sadly, I feel the answer for most, is no.

    both Llloyds, TSB beat this by a mile, pretty underwhelming , thought they'd at least do a switch deal including a tesco £25/50 voucher or something.

    This is a straight forward comparison. People could easily see that.
    But if you have already maximize the tier one interest then your next best option is to go to tier two interest rate.

    This account come on the right time to replace Lloyd vantage account which interest will fall to 1.5% this July this year.#

    I wonder does anyone successfully get approved two account in one go, rather than ding it twice (which might also mean two credit check ) ?

    Or people need to apply by phone to get two accounts simultaneously ?

    @typistretired & innovate

    Thanks both. I've applied for 2 and got message that applications have been accepted. Also have same screen as innovate.

    Might have to brave their mobile app as I'm a compulsive history deleter & cookie clearer ;)

    Don't worry if you clear your cookies etc. Their computer states they do not recognise the computer and asks if you want to proceed. They then send a message to your mobile with a unique number to input for security.

    Today I received my package for Tesco Bank Current Account. Only one signature form to sign despite their system stating I have applied for two. So I have typed a letter explaining what their system has done and asked them to open the second current account for me. I have attached this to the Current Account Signature Form.
