Everyone at work is asking me why are they doing this as it must cost Ryanair a furtune. Does anyone know? And also, is it a mad scramble for seats or are they allocated at check in?

Thanks again to the OP and everyone for all of the advice!

I think they are having some sort of price war with Easyjet, but who knows.

Hi, does anyone know if you don't turn up for the outbound flight then it automatically means you don't get to "come back".

Reason I'm asking is I think I've found a loop hole. where I can "come to the UK" on one day, and then "fly back" to my destination on the next for much less than single flight out. (booking a seperate one to come back from the destination, since there's more of us), and works out about £35 cheaper!

    I give up.

I've looked on their PDF for availability, and while I have found some 1p flights I'm being taxed.

There are some new ones that have gone on for travel in Nov/Dec too, but no matter what I do I cannot find a free flight!! (looking from Manchester Liverpool or East Midlands!!!)

Exactly. Then you would have had the option to use them or not.
    Something to remember next time.

This is what I don't understand......

London STN to Stockholm VST on the 4th October, attracts £25.20 Tax, yet to a return flight from VST to STN for 3rd to 4th October, you get it for 2 SEK (~14p) in total.

(Hence my question, since booking a 3 passenger return on the following monday, 1 way, cost ~21p)

The cheek!!!! What happened to Midnight?!?!?

Also - SUMMER fare? I've clicked on East Mids to Barcelona and been told the travel period for the £10 fare is Nov - Feb!!!

EDIT: The sites in a transitional period.. sometimes saying free, sometimes saying £10, but always charging me much more!!!!

I booked these the other night but never received an e-mail confirmation and didn't keep a record of my booking reference. Do Ryanair often take a long time to send out booking confirmations?

This is the first time I've ever booked a Ryanair flight and might be the last if I can't find my flight details!
